Quick but Disappointing—Lacks Flavor and Texture
I gave Mug Shot instant pasta a try while living aboard with a portable kettle, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The taste? Well, it’s more like pasta-flavored water—bland and underwhelming. It could definitely use more seasoning or flavor to make it worth the trouble. But the real issue? The texture. Even after cooking, the pasta stayed clumpy and never really softened. It was more like mushy lumps floating in water. If it had a little corn starch or something to help thicken it, it could make a world of difference! It’s super convenient for a quick meal, but if you’re after something satisfying and tasty, you might want to skip this one. I’m giving it two stars because it’s technically edible, but I’d really love to see some improvements in flavor and texture.
