I have tried a lot of different brands and for the price this is the best quality and best tasting canned sardines.

Sardines in tins come in all shapes and tastes, and this Mina brand is among the best I have tasted--but short of the experience produced by sardines on the grill just after they have been fished out of the Mediterranean... But I digress... Anyway, to increase my protein/omega 3 intake, I bought a couple of cans at my local grocery store and after they passed the tasting exam, I decided to go the the twelve pack. They are soaked in olive oil, they come small/medium size and there's no need to peel scales or remove bones. Did I say bang for the buck? If I stick to my protein/omega 3 regimen, I will likely go for the automatic subscription. Peel the cover and enjoy!!!

Wanting sardines in my eating routine at this point of my life is mind blowing.π€― I am telling everyone I know about THESE sardines! πππππ I am in my 60βs and have NEVER eaten sardines because my entire lifeβs experience of them has always been repulsive! Just the thought of sardines would send a wave of nausea to my stomach, due to the very pungent, unpleasant, disgusting, extreme fishy smell. Well, I needed to shake up my metabolism and desperately wanted to give the 72 hour sardines (only) challenge a try. This desperation led me to the discovery of these particular sardines. I purchased a pack of 12, with fingers crossed, I opened the first can, and I didnβt get knocked over from an overwhelming, disgusting fishy smell. Instead, I was surprised and in disbelief that the sardines were mild (understatement), and there were 3 large sardines stuffed inside the can. Long story shortβ¦..they made my 72-hour sardine challenge so easy. The sardine challenge really worked, and now I actually crave these sardines even though the 72-hour challenge is over. My absolute favorite way to prepare them is to dump the sardines and all the EVOO into a skillet, add some Himalayan pink salt and a generous amount of Mrs. Dash seasoning, push them and flip them around till they are a little crispy and the seasoning gets crunchy. I slide them out of the skillet onto a plate and make sure to top them off with all the little crispies. They are so delicious and sometimes I squeeze a little mustard over them. Iβm amazed! No one could have ever convinced me I would like sardines EVER. These sardines are AWESOME, due to their MILD smell & flavor, their freshness, and the oil is extra virgin olive oilβ¦..instead of other oils in some other brands that are unhealthy and inflammatory. Wanting sardines in my life after all my years is mind blowing. I keep telling all my friends about these fantastic sardines! πππππ
