I found these grab bars on Amazon while looking for gold finishes rather than silver, and the price was very reasonable. I was initially concerned about whether they would be sturdy enough to support someone in the event of a fall, but they have proven to be solid, well-made, and very secure. They look fabulous and I highly recommend them.

Great product and value

My spouse had multiple health issues. Grab bars are a necessity in bathroom areas. This unit was installed against a wooden cabinet. That is important to know if you intend to use a grab bar where there is sheetrock. Typically, wall studs are 18 inches apart. To hold a person's weight, you need to have screws that go into a stud behind the sheetrock. If you have wood or stone to drill into, a 12-inch grab bar works just fine. This is made of good materials. I think it will last a long time. It does not detract from the overall look of the bathroom.

We checked with ADA regulations for proper placement. Hoping the gold-look will last MY life-time. Sure look nice. Very sturdy to hold on but I don't expect to hold 200 pounds of me. That's not what they are designed to do. Be sure to install properly.

The grab bar worked perfectly in my shower. I liked the textured for secure grabbing. And the black color worked well with the color in the shower. Nice secure hold when I need it.

It's brassed stainless steel with knurled grips machined in for extra grip. It's sturdy plenty of various fixing included in box. Well designed and fit for purpose. I would and probably will buy again as I'm awaiting knee replacements and getting in and out up steps at bow these will be invaluable. Value for money in my opinion.

Well made product but wrong bolts for attaching the rod to the wall plate were shipped. Four bolts required and a total of 6 received, but 3 of these were fractionally too small and could not be tightened. Installer needed to go to the hardware and get a tightening agent. Disappointing they would ship a product with the wrong hardware to install it.
