This kit contained everything thing you need to keep you firearms clean and in good condition.

Needed a compact pistol cleaning kit for the range. I added some CLP in a small bottle and this works well. Just throw it in my range bag and go.

I've got a few of these kits (one for pistol, one for rifle, one for shotgun), and they work well to keep in my range bag. I've taken them all out of the cases and have them separated in a Molle admin pouch attached to my bag, so the pouches aren't useful to me, but they do keep everything nice and organized if you wish to use them. The brushes and rod are decent enough...not the highest quality, but not terrible. The jags and slotted patch holders are plastic...I prefer brass, but these have held up fine for field cleanings, which is all I use these kits for. I run a brush and a few patches down the barrel at the range and then do a thorough cleaning with a different kit when I get home or later in the week. For the price I really can't complain. Although none of the components are the best out there, they've all held up to multiple cleanings, and for the price, I don't really expect them to be the best. I'll never replace my Otis brushes for a good deep clean, but these are perfect for a quick pass during a field cleaning.

...you just want to take a small cleaning kit with you, and this one fills the bill! It's small enough to fit in just about any nook or cranny of a vehicle, and it's soft outer construction won't generate noise or damage a thing. I bought this mainly for cleaning handguns with very short barrels and, for that purpose, it's been perfect. I've used it on .22's, .38's, .380's and 9mm's and never experienced a problem with binding. On that last point, it's fitting to note that a bronze brush must be pushed ALL THE WAY through the bore or reversing is going to be all but impossible. On another note I think it's wrong to be critical of this kit for its lack of solvent or oil when, as photos clearly indicate, it's not been advertised as having any? Finally, I'll add that all the bits and pieces match the thread pattern on other kits I have, which means I have spares and endless possibilities for cobbling together whatever I need, even for a rifle. Overall, I give it "2 thumbs up" or, as in this case, 5 stars!

I love this cleaning kit, for the price you can't get much better. All the parts feel high quality and does a good job of cleaning multiple size barrels. The case is durable and keeps everything organized and secure while carrying it in my pack. It is my go to for cleaning in the field and at home.

There's enough in this kit to do a very serviceable job of field-cleaning a pistol, and I have used it a number of times after a shooting session when I wasn't going straight home and didn't want to leave a fouled pistol in the range bag for the rest of the day or weekend. It has everything you need with some room left over for a small bottle of CLP. Definitely recommended.
