DerMend Moisturizing Anti Itch Lotion Target Care for Dry, Itchy, Mature Skin 8 Ounces

This is the best anti itch product I have ever used and I have used many. I attract mosquitoes and lots of other biting insects. Lately it has been spiders. For some reason this year's weather has fostered a huge population and now that the weather has changed, they are coming into the house. I have been bitten twice this month alone. The itch from these bites is horrible. I used what I had in my medicine cabinet and none touched the itch. I ordered this product in desperation. At first it didn't seem to work either but after about 10 minutes the itch was gone, absolutely gone. So if you buy it and at first it doesn't seem to work, give it 10 minutes. What I really like is that it works for a long time. At most I have to use it twice in a day, you don't need much for bites, more for larger areas of rash, but considering how well it works and how long it lasts, it is well worth the price.

Have been using this lotion for over a year for my dry skin condition, and it has performed Exceptionally! Especially right after a shower, I apply this liberally, and you can instantly feel it absorb into your skin. It also really helps to relieve itching, too. Since it absorbs so quickly, it does have to be reapplied often to maintain the smooth and moisturizing effect. It is Not Greasy. It is reasonably priced and it is a permanent addition to my collection of skin moisturizing products.

I have purchased this product several times and hope it will not be discontinued like so many other items SENIORS seem to need. AVEENO ECZEMA THERAPY FOR ITCHY SKIN has apparently been discontinued, which was wonderful. They still sell the nighttime itch relief last time I looked. DERMEND GOES ON SMOOTHLY, AS IT IS A LOTION. It also feels cool on inflamed and itchy patches of skin. .However, I find the benefits of this product woirk best and lasts longer than this product alone is to mix it with CeraVe creme. The latter is very moisturizing and adding DerMend to the CeraVe makes the smooth cooling CeraVe anti itch and it lasts for several hours. I was hesitant to mix the two products together. Thus, I scooped out some CeraVe and put it in the lid of the jar and sparingly added DerMend to that and mixed them together. That combo worked for a few hours. Thus, the next time I mixed my own combined product I added more DerMend. DISCLAIMER: THIS WORKED FOR ME. IT MAY NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. i still mix the two products together in the lid of the jar and a am at about equal amounts now. The soothing anti itch DerMend does stop the itch. But, the combination with the CeraVe creme is WONDERFUL.Therefore, I only gave DerMend 4 stars because that needs to be applied more often.

Used to use this lotion all the time because as you age and also live in he south, your skin gets dryer and itchy and this lotion is perfect. Not a heavy cream in the hot summer so we love it! We will be buying more in the future!

This lotion is very good and it offer temporary relief from itching caused by various skin irritations and dry skin. I been useing this lotion over three years. I love it

I saw DerMend Moisturizing Anti-Itch Lotion advertised online and decided to give it a try. Like CeraVe, my go-to moisturizing itch relieving lotion, DerMend contains Pramoxine Hydrochloride 1%, recommended by many pharmacists for itch relief. In the end, however, I wasn't as satisfied with DerMend as I was with the CeraVe. DerMend is much more liquidy than the thicker CeraVe. While DerMend goes on easily since it's so thin, it doesn't control itching as well as the CeraVe; breakthrough itching often occurs in an hour or two. All in all, I'll stick with the CeraVe Itch Relief Moisturing Lotion, even if it is a bit more expensive. I also notice that CeraVe has the "Accepted" seal of the National Eczema Association on the label, while DerMend does not.
