I had 2 pieces.of furniture I liked buy no longer matched the decor. After a little research, I ended up here. Now I want to recover everything! It is absolutely gorgeous and so easy to work with. Has quite a bit of stretch while still being thick enough to hold strong. The only down fall is my 2 cats seem to love it. They immediately claimed both pieces and you can find them sleeping their days ways on this gorgeous, shimmery, soft green fabric.

I had bought my daughter a cool antique channel back bedroom chair many years ago (picture 1). She asked me to re-upholster the chair in green velvet for her as a Christmas present. I researched green velvet fabric prices. My traditional fabric shops were wildly expensive for their velvet. Decided to try Amazon. As I sew, I researched the reviews very carefully to see if the weight and quality were sufficient for upholstery. I settled on this company and bought extra yardage in case I goofed (never upholstered a chair before). All I can say is, “Thank goodness I found an instructional video on how to upholster a channel back chair online”! The fabric was great. I washed it first on the handwashing cycle and line dried it. The color is rich hunter green, stretchy enough to pull tight around edges. I put 2 layers of velvet on the seat part as that will get the most wear. I had to use the old fabric as a pattern to use for the back of the chair. The velvet was easy to cut and work with on my sewing machine. This was the hardest project I have ever undertaken and it came out great!! The fabric is beautiful, sturdy, colorfast, and the price was reasonable. My daughter was so excited to get her Christmas gift…and I was sad to have to return it, haha!!

Made the Selena retro jumpsuit for my daughter for Halloween and this fabric was so easy to work with. Only used two yards and still had some left over. The shine on the velvet made it look like the sparkles on Selena’s original outfit and I didn’t have to have glitter in my home or car. ◡̈ my daughter loves how soft it was and the stretch was so comfy for her. I sewed the pants a little small, so they were a little tight, but the stretch made all the difference and they stayed putZ I was worried they were too tight that they would sag and she would have to keep pulling them up, but no! Im going to buy more of this fabric to make myself a dress. So so pretty!

Very nice material n pretty color is vibrant. I had a chair n stool covered with it.

I purchased the burgundy velvet. Beautiful material, easy to work with it does stretch. I used it to cover an antique chair. I purchased 5 yards and had more than enough material.
