We just got a 2023 Chevy Bolt EV, and I've been getting it set up with all of the things I like to have on hand. The console cubby is deep, which is nice for holding lots of stuff, but not great for being able to easily find little things. This tray was just what I needed! It fits well, makes it easy to organize my little things, and can easily be removed so I can store less frequently used things underneath and still get at them fairly easily. It makes it slightly harder to latch the lid, but not bad.

Nice material that fits well and is easy to install, making it more convenient to access items instead of digging deep to the bottom of the center console. It provides some separation of items for better organization. It can be pulled up fairly easily to access additional items stored below, as it only uses the upper third of the console space.

This is a great option to address the dumb lack of such a shelf in the EUV. However, who needs a coin holder in 2025? And really who needs anything but a generous, open shelf to place things into? I’d say remove the coin and other things blocking full utilization. There were other versions of this, and they wasted even more space for the useless coin area so I chose this. Another couple issues: 1) this thing is too shallow, should be at least another inch. Broke some standard size glasses closing this on them. 2) once this gadget is seated, you have no practical way of accessing what’s below! You gotta pry it out with your fingernails and thumbs until it comes out, absolutely ludicrous - did the designer think you’d not want to store things underneath?!? I’ll have to rig up some sort of handle to be able to pull this up without causing an accident. Great fit and price, but some amazingly dumb decisions in design that will have me keeping it but seeking a better version of this.
