Emperial Premium Black 17L Halogen Convection Oven Cooker Air Fryer 1400W Includes Accessories Pack, Timer & Extender Ring

We had a traditional 2 drawer air fryer, for all of 10 minutes, and wasn't overly impressed, and thought long and hard about this version of one, and decided to give it ago. It was delivered with care, especially as it's glass. Once out of the packaging, have to say, it's huge, with an added extension when needed. I was a bit tentative with the first use, and only cooked a few chips, which turned out so, so. But since then it's been absolutely great with whatever has been cooked. And as for the 'chips' (we use McCain) well they taste amazing, crispy outside and deliciously fluffy inside, and a completely different taste, for the better, from our previous air fryer. As far as the 'cleaning' function goes, we haven't filled it up as suggested to halfway, but, slightly less especially as the water gets agitated during cleaning and we don't want it to potentially splash the cooking element. All in all this is a great bit of kit, and a great price too, although we missed out the £10 off deal by about half a minute 🙄🫤...... 🤭 Would Recommend.

This must be my 4th halogen oven. It is used nearly every day including for the roast on Sunday. It just cooks everything and so much cheaper and more efficient than a conventional oven. Very quiet and easy to clean.

Very Economical oven. Heats to 190 degrees in minutes

I use one of these at home and recently bought this one for my daughter. They are fantastic. The heat up quickly and is big enough to cook a full roast for 3 people. I use this in favour of my oven. It's easy to clean the bowl although the baskets can be tricky to clean.

This digital halogen oven was just what I was looking for, as we've had many halogen ovens over the years but after a while the heat makes all the numbers on the dials come off so you don't know what temperature it's been set to etc. The item arrived on time and was on first inspection in perfect condition. The instructions are limited but good enough to get started. Unfortunately once I had got it set up ready to cook for the first time, I switched it on and pressed start, only for there to immediately be the smell of burning soldier coming from the machine. The bulb came on to heat the food, but the fan never did during the 25 programme so when the timer had finished the food was very undercooked. I then tested the fan on the "fan only" setting and it again never came on. This digital halogen oven is extremely poorly designed and assembled if the fan is faulty straight out of the box. I would advise the seller to contact the manufacturer and address the quality control during the production of this item because there are now quite a few people writing the same review of this oven. Avoid.

I just finished eating fish & chips cooked in my new halogen cooker. The oven chips and battered fish were so crisp and dry, I would never have guessed they were cheap own-brand products if I hadn't bought them myself. I don't have a fan oven to compare cooking time, but the need to heat the larger capacity of a regular oven must result in a longer cooking time. I can say my dinner cooked a lot quicker compared to the mini oven I used for the past six years. 17l seems perfect for one man and his cat, and I plan to dump the mini oven tomorrow. The only thing I think I will need is another mesh rack for battered fish. This is one item that needs turning. The chips cooked perfectly left alone. ***** UPDATE ***** After one month of use, I don't think I could do without this amazing cooker. I have cooked all my usual meals and found it as good as a conventional oven, only quicker and much easier to keep clean. I have not tried soups or stews, but as I own an Instant Pot, why bother? As mentioned previously, a silicon mesh rack is essential for cooking delicate items like pastry and battered/breaded foods. Buy a circular one that's larger than the internal circumference of the bowl and cut it to size with scissors. That will stop food from falling down the sides. These are sold everywhere, including on Amazon. I think this 17l model would be perfect for singles or couples. A family of four might need to adapt their eating habits to the capacity of the cooker. It certainly makes me wonder why people routinely purchase 65l+ ovens and heat a lot of empty space. I must mention one minor problem I have experienced. The light produced by the halogen bulb is very bright and irritating at times. On the other hand, you don't need to remove the lid to see if the food is ready.
