Make it work perfectly
OK, so keymod rails are obsolete, but I just love mine and needed a way to attach the sling where I wanted. The problem with QD attachments on a keymod is the size of the keymod hole. You have to Dremel it out a little for the swing swivel to go in all the way. This product or any product. Takes less than 2 minutes. So, dremel the hole just enough so that a QD goes in all the way. Then attach this attachment and it works perfectly with any QD accessory that you like. BTW, this product is SOLID...not crap. Totally trust it to carry the load.

Sturdy, bang for your buck imo, mechanism feels great
Will absolutely hold your strap on a ar15 or other key mod rails. Solid, I was worried that the quick release mechanism would be flimsy and cheap feeling, however it is pretty sturdy seems like it could hold weight and is exactly what I was looking for at a great price. This is my first build but not my first time using a gun so I am fairly new to parts brands and quality, however I do have basic mechanical common sense... keep that in mind!

Almost perfect
Nearly perfect. On my wish list.. 1. Torx bolts, not Allen bolts 2. Matching finish on plate and swivel (mine is matte on the plate, and gloss on the swivel) 3. Wish the loop hinge was tighter. No problem for an AR but could make a noise and spook an animal if moved the wrong way. Again very minor complaints but not issues.

Good QD Sling Mount
If you're looking for a cost-effective sling mount, this is the option for you. It locks up tight and doesn't come loose when you don't want it to, so it does its job. As a note, as a budget-friendly product, the cost savings has to come from somewhere. That means it's a bit on the shallow side. If you don't take the quick couple of seconds to make sure the QD mount hole is aligned with the underlying Keymod hole, the sling mount won't fit in or lock up. Align the holes and you'll be golden. I'd recommend this QD mount for anyone looking for a cost-effective option!

Seems solid and bonus the finish matches my rail.
This is possible to install backwards. If the keyhole doesnt line up pop it off spin it around and put it back on. If the keyhole is not lined up with the hole for the QD THE QD wont be able to seat all the way in and lock. Paired it with the Magpul RLS sling. Jerked it around and got kinda rough with it and it held just fine. Now i get to see how long it takes me to break it, if i can. Seems to be well worth the 13 bucks i spent on it.

Worth it
This came on time, and packaged well. It was easy to install on my rail, and quality is good. There were no issues attaching my sling to it. I recommend this product for the price and quality.

Swivel stud protrudes below the lock a bit. Prevents lock from engaging once installed.
I have a Palmetto Armory 10.5” upper in 300BLK that I bough this for. Once I installed the mount plate and tried to connect the swivel, it would not engage completely. I then realized that the stud protrudes a bit (maybe 1/2mm or so) through the bottom of the mount plate. There isn’t enough room in the MLOK slits for the stud to go through, so the stud will not lock up properly. Palmetto Armory has an excellent rep for making things to spec, so I must conclude that this mount is not to spec. I will return this and spend the extra money for Magpul.
