8x10 Shadow Box Frame with Linen Back - Sturdy Rustic Memory Display Case of Flower, Pictures, Medals and More, Distressed White

My project was an "Infinity Mirror" which required a frame with glass and depth making this shadowbox a perfect match. Cost was a big factor as I was experimenting and had no idea whether this would turn out. The shadowbox came exactly as described with a worn paint scheme, complete with a delightful magnetic latch for the front glass cover and a padded back. Push pins were included to facilitate mounting of displayed items in the shadow box. The back of the box included rings for wall hanging in two different orientations, but no desktop stand. The "Paint" is actually a very well-done vinyl applicate' over a lightweight wooden frame. The hinges on the front cover are secure and the latch works well. For my application I removed the backer all together to insert a mirror. Then I wedged in a wooden frame that permitted me to affix a glass plate sandwiched in between the front glass and rear mirror. On the inner wooden frame I mounted my LED strips, one above the insert glass and the other below. My initial thought was to paint the shadowbox black, but the vinyl covering repelled the acrylic paint that I tested. Later I will try an enamel to see if that sticks. This in no way demeans the shadowbox construction which is as described and is fairly good quality. Most certainly a great value for the cost. I cut the frame of the box on one side to permit wiring to come through and the frame remained sturdy even though I removed a slice that would ordinarily weaken most frames. The front glass is quite thin, but also well attached and sturdy and works very well for the intended use of the boxed frame. The lighter weight also makes the magnetic latch work well properly securing the front frame from coming loose while at the same time allowing items inside to be accessed and replaced. This was a great purchase at a very good price delivering good quality and value at this price point.

The wood on this shadowbox is beautiful. The size is exactly as described. There is no clap for closure, but I like that because it does stay closed on its own. It’s a great shadowbox for the price! I purchased the white washed color I would highly recommend this one

This shadow box is exactly what I was looking for. It's well made and I love the distressed look. The door closes safely and it's easy to hang.
