Very nice soap without any discernible soap odor. Just clean and fresh. I didn't notice any body odor all day. Very nice on my skin as well.

The price is a little bit of a sticker shock at first, but it’s so worth it. Keep it up out of the water in your shower and it lasts quite a long time. Doesn’t leave a funky after smell on your skin. I work from home and when I shower with this, I do not have to wear deodorant. It works SO good!!!!! This is definitely a repeat buy for me. To me, it is much better than their body wash.

4/25/2024: First Use = very sudsy! I created a giant soap bubble about 6” in diameter between my arm and chest while rubbing the soap on my body. Great soap up experience. (I rub the bar directly on my wet skin.) I felt so clean after. Squeaky clean! The scent of “lavender safe” is only recognizable when you first hold the bar up to your nose. I could not smell it during use in shower and I definitely can’t smell it on my skin. There is definitely no residue left on skin. I don’t know why anyone would think the bar would be moisturizing. It’s acidified. I think of what has acidic PHs like citrus fruits etc and those things are not used in moisturizing. So it makes sense to me that my arms are super dry after toweling off from using the acidified bar. I wouldn’t expect a bad with an acidic ph to moisturize and it doesn’t not. That’s the only down side so far. Is the dry arms and legs. But I feel more clean than usual. I’m a dr Bronner Castile bar used. I can see now how that is moisturizing but probably leaves A residue to be so. I’m not a smelly person at all but I’m having an issue with hives and I’m trying this bar to see if it helps by changing the PH of my skin surface. I like how clean I feel. I miss smelling my soap and I don’t like the dryness but I love how clean this feels! I’ll be back to comment if it helped with my acute body issue (hives). April 4 2024 update: Went to dermatologist she says this soap won’t have an impact on hives. She also told me Mandelic acid peels the skin (makes sense it’s an acid and acids exfoliate). I noticed skin peeling (sloughing off) under my boobs. More importantly, look at my photos. New bar is unused Dr Bronner’s 5oz, for size compare. (Lume bar before use is also 5oz). I took 11 showers. 11 days from first use to the photos and the bad is down to a sliver. 11 days!! All the soap did was dry out the skin on my arms and legs. I’m not saying this is a bad soap. I’m saying it’s not moisturizing and it’s drying and it simply does not last long. It was worn to a sliver in 11 days and I honestly take quick showers and I don’t soap up my back or my feet or legs. I do the torso, arms, pits and bits. I also store the bar up high away from water so it’s not disintegrating when not in use. I rub the bar right on my skin and my skin is not made of sandpaper grit lol. There is no abnormal use or extra washing happening. 11 quick showers, one a day, and it’s nearly gone. My recommendation - Do not buy the acidified bar - you’re wasting your money and drying out your skin. I’m done with this product.

All my life I perspired heavily! Hot/exercise/nervous/ any alcohol/spicy foods, you name it….. I have sweat dripping down my face & (mainly) upper body. While I’ve made peace with sweating (a former coworker could not sweat & it was very uncomfortable for her), I’ve always felt smelly and very self conscious no matter how often I shower and/or apply deodorant. This amazing bar of soap surprised me! It works so very well. I’m in my 70’s now and sweat even worse but for the first time in a long while I feel fresh for over 24 hours!! Yay! The soap lathers beautifully to a creamy foam and efficiently cleanses my body including sensitive areas without stripping my skin dry. There’s no strange “dry” feeling after a shower and despite sweating, I’m odor free! I’m really blown away! After a life-time of searching, I finally found a solution to my problem: I still sweat but I don’t feel smelly! This is a game-changer for anyone who perspires a lot! Update 06/05/25 With temperatures climbing, I decided to do a comparison: Test 1 - shower with Lume, regular deodorant. Worked up a sweat. Next day quick wash-up with regular soap, regular deodorant; did several loads of laundry, perspiring heavily BUT no smell! Yay! Test 2 - shower with regular body wash, regular deodorant. Worked up a sweat - slight smell. Next day quick wash-up with regular soap, regular deodorant. Worked up a sweat - ugh…. rank, nasty body odor, yuck!! 👃 Lume soap is a definite must for me!!

This is the only bar soap that keeps me fresh all day and actually gets the smell out. Helps with the bumps on my arms too

I absolutely love this cleansing bar! I have used Lume soap bars in my shower for years. They are kinda expensive but worth every penny! They all have a lovely fragrance but the scent doesn’t last much longer than your shower, so it doesn’t compete with fragranced lotions or sprays! Keep it out of direct contact of water when storing and it will last quite a long time!!!

I use the unscented Lume bar after workouts, and it really works. I sweat a lot when I exercise, and this is one of the only cleansers that actually prevents odor instead of just covering it up with fragrance. I like that it’s unscented — you just feel clean, not perfumed. It also doesn’t dry out my skin like regular soap can. Honestly, some days I don’t even feel like I need deodorant afterward, which has never happened with regular soap. If you work out regularly or live somewhere hot, this is a solid option.

It's a wonderful light smell, lasts forever!! And sensitive skin approved! Though I would have this as like a secondary wash?? Like a wash after wash?? It kinda leaves that bar soap coating...

Thanks to Musings of a curvy lady on YouTube and the reviews here on Amazon I took the chance and brought it. It was better than I expected I’m so glad I’ve got this it’s brilliant and I have sensitive skin so it’s a bonus! I felt so clean, soft and pretty! It’s five fabulous stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This soap! The best, I have had smell/ sweat issues for longer than I can remember. Nothing ever seems to work. This was a game changer for me, I was skeptical as learnt about it from a Youtuber but she was 100% right it works. Thank you to Musings of a curvy lady, I hope your getting comission!

It's nothing special but does the job

Got burn sensation and infection down below. It’s advertised as moisturising and safe to use on private parts. This is not the case at all, as my skin on my intimate zone is very badly affected and I am seeing a doctor tomorrow. Very expensive mistake, I had days of suffering so far.
