I couldn't open the container fast enough for my dog. She sniffs every package that gets delivered to our door, but this one had significant smell. She wouldn't back away. I opened it and she was trying to push her nose into it !! She loves it. She is a Panda German Shepherd She will be 9 years old in July. Shepherds are known for hip dysplasia. I don't want her in th a t kind of pain. I think I have found the answer.

I have an old dog that's 15 who has stiff joints, so has been on a supplement with glucosamine in liver powder. When my younger dog got what appears to be ligament and meniscus damage in a leg, I had her on it and it seemed to work okay. But she would still limp a bit when she jumped too much or ran too far. When I saw that mussel powder specifically mentions ligaments I got this for her and used it for a few days. And it worked wonders. She stopped limping completely even after long runs and can catch a frisbee again. However, she got itchy a couple days after starting the supplement, and I did not realize it could have been from the mussel powder. She was itching as bad as when she eats chicken. After 6 days, she also started throwing up and did so about 10 times over 18 hours. I finally realized it was the mussels, and I have one of the very rare dogs who has a shellfish allergy. So, she's off the mussel powder (symptoms stopped immediately), but I am still using it for old dog, who also seems to greatly benefit from it.

This is amazing. Bought for one of my clients as a gift. Yes it’s stinky, it’s mussels def not going to smell like roses. But it’s not unbearable. Watching my clients dog be able to walk smoothly without looking like she’s in pain was one of the happiest moments in my life. Just to be able to assist in alleviating some of that pain. Like wow. Also that shine it adds to the coat is a plus. Worth every penny. Dogs love it taste smell and all. I will continue to purchase this product not only for self but also friends and family as well as my clients when their fur baby is in need.

I have seen improvement in mypup since using the product. The smell is minimal compared to other green mussel powders. My pup does not seem to mind the taste as I sprinkle on her food and she eats without a problem. urchased other green mussel that was VERY expensive and this product worked just a s well and did not stink compared to the other I tried.
