Been using proactiv for years and when my daughter started to experience some adolescent acne I purchased for her as well. The original proactiv I had to be careful not to get close to the skin near around my eyes, even diluted by water, would puff up my eyes and be painful for days. This doesn't do this so I guess the ingredients are less harsh. I do not have serve acne but definitely dealing with adult acne and under skin painful pimples. This doesn't over dry the skin and haven't had many pimple since using daily. My skin is healthy and fresh. I dont use the 3 steps just the wash. Pricey but quality is there. Scent is pleasant and not a chemical odor like others. Also definitely seen more sales in the last couple of years than before so I feel like more affordable than before even if inflation has increased price.

This cleanser is very gentle specially to someone new to sulfur. I have a weak skin barrier because i suffer from rosacea and this cleanser is very gentle on my skin. I tried other “gentle cleansers” and they all left my face red and burning but not this. Im doing this sulfur wash because of the antibacterial and gentle exfoliating that it does to your skin. You do have a small sulfur smell afterwards but is not as bad as other ppl make it look. Deff 5 stars

I use it on acne prone face the acne are less now and skin feels clear. I use it morning and night.

I really like this product! I'm 48 years old, and my skin has been clear for 15 or more years but has suddenly started breaking out pretty badly in the last few months. I remembered using sulphur products and finding them effective in the past. For me, it's not as drying as Retin-a (my skin is just too sensitive for that, and insurance won't cover Retin-a micro, which is amazing), and I hate how benzoyl peroxide bleaches fabric. This product has cleared my skin up a lot since I started using it about 10 days ago. The smell isn't great, but it's tolerable. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the cap broke off with normal use, and I had to buy a new one because I didn't want the product to leak out when I'm traveling over the holidays. For a fairly expensive product, they need to make the cap out of thicker plastic.

I have rosecea prone skin and I've had no issues with irritation. It works as well as the more expensive, same ingredients KS brand for me.

My daughter loves this cleanser. It has improved her complexion. We like being able to order individually instead of the 3 piece sets in store like Walmart. She runs out of the cleanser faster than the others.

I have always suffered from acne and have used Proactive off and on for many years. I know that my skin changes with the different seasons and I wanted to see if switching to a different product would make a difference. My breakouts were more consistent with this one, so I am switching back to the original.

Honestly was shocked how big the bottle was and love using this at night!
