Best bright copper acrylic copper paint

Vallejo is the only metallic paint I'll use now. Great coverage in one coat.

This is thin out of the bottle (it does say airbrush paint on the bottle after all) but other than that the only other remarkable thing is how smooth and reflective a coat it leaves. Good coverage and fairly strong pigmentation.

I was somewhat dubious at first, a conventional airbrush finish was disappointning. I elected to repaint by brush and was extremely pleased with the results. Easy and very satisfying to apply. A lovely deep glowing copper finish to the copper bottom of my Victory!

Really pleased with this paint a lovely pearlescent rich copper colour. Only a small bottle but covers really well on the wooden clock face I bought it for.

This paint is truly amazing! Very easy to spray, very forgiving if you pool the spray to much and the colours are outstanding! Water based and better look than any stinky enamel paint if used. I cannot recommend this range of paint enough. I've purchased 7 colours so far,don't really need the hole range for my crafting requirements, but if I need any more metal colours then it will be Vallejo metal color range!! Buy it,you will love it.

Great coverage even over black can also be brushed on if your careful

The best Copper Metallic acrylic I have ever encountered. I use this both with an airbrush (sprays fine through a 0.2mm tip at around 20PSI) and with a paint brush. Covers in one coat and gives a smooth finish that is a perfect colour match for Copper.

Vallejo Metal Colors are hands down the best metallic paints in my opinion. They go on super smooth, and have a great metallic sheen. A great selection of tones as well.

A little red compared to other offerings. I love duraluminum and the other silver colored offerings in the metal color line. I think this color and the gold are lacking, and most people that have used them tend to agree. The coverage is nice, not as good as silver but still very good especially for a metallic. Mixing with a more traditional copper colored paint makes it match better. If you're looking for a deep red copper this would be great! Or you can apply and drybrush a more traditional copper for a good deep tone.

Plain and simple, looking for a good metallic paint for a bargain price to volume ratio? Can’t go wrong with Vallejo’s model metallic paints. The color is “copper” and it has great coverage. Always remember to going with thin layers, it’s easier to build up rather than build down from a thick layer of metallic paint. Also if you’re rinsing off metallic paints, make sure you empty your rinse cup to avoid metal flakes mixing with your non-metallic paints.

Takes a bit of practice to use correctly. The paint is alcohol based so it will dry fast but is thinner than water and will run if not careful. Be sure to dab your brush before applying. This applies to all of the metal color paints.

This goes on so smooth on the figures we paint with the air brush. We have been using other metallic colors for a long time and thought we were satisfied. After trying this product we can't go back to anything else. Love it, LOVE IT
