Game-Changer Soil Amendment — Easy to Use & Truly Effective!
I’ve tried a lot of soil amendments over the years, but Char Bliss Premium Biochar genuinely stands out as one of the best additions I’ve made to my garden. This isn’t just plain charcoal — it’s a high-quality biochar that transforms tired soil into something lively and easier to work with. Right out of the bag, the product feels premium — clean, consistent pieces that mix easily into potting soil or garden beds without clumping. After incorporating it into my soil, I noticed improved moisture retention and better root growth in everything from herbs to flowering plants. The soil seems to hold nutrients better, which has noticeably reduced how much fertilizer I need to add. What I love most is how versatile it is: ✔ Mix into potting soil for containers ✔ Blend with compost for beds and raised rows ✔ Top-dress established plants to help retain moisture My plants look healthier, more vigorous, and overall more drought-resilient since using this. Even with occasional low water, the soils don’t dry out as fast, and my blooms have been more abundant. Pros: Enhances soil structure and porosity, improves water retention, helps hold nutrients in the root zone, supports beneficial soil life, easy to mix and work with little mess, and such a large (in size) box of char for such a reasonable price. If you’re serious about building healthy, long-lasting soil — whether for containers, lawns, or garden beds — this is a must-try. Highly recommend! 🌼🌿

Large quantity at a very fair price
I use Coco Coir year round to start all my seeds. This particular product I have purchased several times because it is a tremendous amount of product for the price. 10 pounds, y'all! It produces a lot of material for seed starting and I can get all my seeds done; and I plant a ton of seeds. It takes a very small amount in your seed trays so it goes a long way. And if you don't need all of it at one time, like I have done, you can cut it into pieces with a saw; easy peezy! It has no odor, no dust, it looks like good quality product not mixed with any other "filler' ingredients, and at a great price. Give it a try folks and happy gardening!

Good quality coco coir, rinse before use
This coco coir is clean, expands well, and has a nice consistent texture. It hydrates evenly and works great as a base medium for plants. I did notice it benefits from a good rinse and buffering before use, especially if you are sensitive to EC or growing more demanding plants. After prep, it performs exactly as expected. Solid product overall, just not totally plug-and-play out of the bag.

Necessity for container-grown vegetables
Organic and local is the best way to feed us, so I grow as many vegetables as I can. Container growing in Texas sun and heat increases containers' higher demand for water, and soaked coir helps keep soil loose while holding moisture along with other amendments. With this big brick of coir, I set it into an oblong container and add water to the level I think I'll need, leave it to soak and soften the coir for an hour or so, then I can chunk off what I need and save the dry section for another day of amending soil. I've also had success putting a cover of coir over each just-planted seed to help keep the area moist so they'll germinate.

Great addition to soil
Coco Coir Bliss is a great alternative / replacement for soil. Mainly, for me its due to the large amount of gnats, fruit flies, etc that can be hatching in soil and infecting your area and damaging plants. Most of which do not infect Coco Coir. It offers good aeriation for soil, doesn't suffocate roots. Holds on to water a while longer. I will mix it with my soil and then put a solid layer over the first two inches of my plants to prevent/ reduce infestation of fruit flies in my indoor plants. Along, as prevention yellow fly traps. However, mixing this way has caused a serious reduction if not elimination. My other plant, I also put a single layer of gravel rock for assurance. But I do like this addition of Coco Coir in just about anything outdoors as well for soil amendment

Too easy.
It’s perlite. It’s quality. It’s packaged properly. It’s a full box. I don’t know what else there is to ask for. I paid a fair price and got EXACTLY what I needed. No mistakes. No issues. Delivered the next day. While it shouldn’t be a big deal, I appreciate basic competence and quality service. Ty.
