Used this ANL fuse holder in a camper electrical system and it has been rock solid. The housing feels sturdy and the terminals clamp down tightly on large gauge wire. Cover fits securely and protects the fuse while still being easy to inspect. Installation was straightforward and it gives peace of mind for protecting batteries and inverters. Great quality for the price and works perfectly for high current 12V setups.

Sturdy! Plus as a second function... I took the fuse out, and use the mounted fuse block as a power distribution block lug for positive and negative cables to attch to and then smaller gauge to bolt over...lugs! On each side of fuse holder. Neat, tidy, slick, trick! Massive comments and forehead slaps, exclamations of....why didnt I think of that... Dual usage, its a fuse! Or a dedicated power distribution block! YMMV!

Hardware is steel as verified by magnet. Nuts washers and studs are plated shiny good color but are not solid brass. Works good as intended. Use #6 pan head phillips screws to mount base to wood. Bigger screw may crack the plastic as it is inset. Would buy again.

***FYI*** This style fuse holder REQUIRES your cables to have terminal connectors on the ends on them. Fuses are not INCLUDED. All in all, pretty straight forward and easy to use fuse holder. Install the fuse size of your choice and connect your end cables. I am using this fuse holder to protect my home solar panel system. No issues so far using 125A fuses and it is doing its job keeping my equipment safe. The fuse holder accepts 0 gauge wire with absolutely no issues and can handle BIGGER as well.
