Tajima CNV100SP "Convoy Super 12" Caulk Gun, Black/Red

This is hands down the best gun on the market. Like most people I started of with a cheap gun then found out about Cox guns. Owned a couple of basic Cox guns and like them so bought the pro Cox gun which I thought at the time was really good. I knew that Tajima made one as I had seen them at trade shows. The time came to replace my Cox pro and I went for the Tajima. What a difference. Fit and finish is perfect, the power coating is far superior than it really needs to be for a caulking gun but it is typically Japanese, they just seek perfection. Now down to the operation, really smooth action, it has a double plate to push the plunger as to the normal single plat. Now for the bit that really impressed me, when you release the trigger, the plunger moves back about 3mm, stopping the flow instantly. It is what I have wished for, for decades, finally I don't have to release my grip to hit the release plate. Just the greatest joy from such a simple thing. How did the manage to engineer this miracle? Some clever gadget that will break after a year or two? No, the pivot point of the release plate has about 3mm of a gap behind it, so when you release the trigger, the standard springs that all guns use push the plunger back. Genius!! So Japanese. The only thing I will say is this gun is made for standard size tubes, Gripfill is just 5mm too long but if you trim the back end off, it's only cardboard, then they fit. (They do make a larger version.) Worth every penny just for the auto stop. Don't think about it or look at the price, just buy it and enjoy your work.

Had an everbuld one for best part of 7 years and was class. But this tops it don’t have to worry about caulk and silicone coming out and going all over floor once finished with it and is so easy to use

This item is by far much superior to any other caulking gun I’ve ever used, and I’ve been a decorator for over 40 years. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Good quality product. Looks as though it will allow easy and comfortable control in use. I cannot say confirm the above until I have had a chance to use it, so 4 stars. It is a shame there is so much urgency for a review so soon after a product is received, and before it has been out to the test.

It's weird to love a caulk gun, but I do. I've tried others before that claim to be nondrip but weren't. This thing actually is - and it makes caulking soooo much easier in my humble DIYer opinion. Plus, it looks beautiful, at least until it gets covered in caulk residue! I haven't been able to use the attached opener pin to break any caulk seals, but maybe that's just me and a lack of experience or strength. It also doesn't have any tool to cut nozzles, but that's definitely not a deal-breaker and I highly recommend this.

I had gone through countless caulking guns before and while some did the job, it wasn't without a fair share of frustration. Either the pressure release got jammed, or the gun wouldn't have enough power when used with thicker silicone. This gun tricks all the boxes, it has a piercer to open up the caulk seal, it is buttery smooth when used, ergonomic and extremely well built. I have a feeling this would be the last gun I'll ever buy, considering I won't end up losing it.

These are more expensive than an average one. But you get what you pay for. This gun is excellent. I’ve even spoke to a neighbour who works as a builder and he even said how marvellous this is. You won’t be disappointed.

I find this caulk gun to be one of the best I have used, no complaints at all, well worth the very competitive price, would be happy to buy a other if I need to

Diese Kartuschenpistole ist einfach ein Traum für jeden Handwerker! Liegt super in der Hand, hat einen angenehmen Widerstand und drückt gleichmäßig und sauber aus – egal ob Silikon, Acryl oder Montagekleber. Kein Nachlaufen, kein Tropfen – das Ding macht, was es soll, und zwar richtig gut. Ich habe schon einige Modelle durchprobiert, aber die TAJIMA Convoy Super 12 sticht echt heraus. Hochwertige Verarbeitung, robuste Materialien und eine top Übersetzung beim Drücken. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich 7 Sterne geben – klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die Wert auf Qualität und Effizienz legen.

Zeer degelijk en goed kitpistool! Had eerst de Tajima 26 gekocht, maar deze had geen anti-drip zoals beschreven. Dan maar deze gekocht en ben zeer tevreden. En ziet er nog mooi uit ook. Professionele kwaliteit. Prijs/kwaliteit is dik in orde. Had ik veel eerder moeten kopen.

Très bon pistolet, conception tout métal robuste, poignée ergonomique et antigoutte automatique. Utilisation professionnelle. Travail facilité par rapport aux autres pistolets, besoin de moins forcer, pression homogène. Très satisfait de mon achat.

Det är första gången som jag har köpt en dyrare silikon pistol. Brukar köpa billiga där jag har fått ta i för få ut innehåller och där det kommer fogmassa efter att jag har slutat trycka. Har tröttnat på dessa som oftast ger ett dåligt resultat. Det är enkelt att trycka ut fogmassan och när jag slutar trycka då kommer det ingen mer fogmassa. Perfekt resultat varenda gång, inga ömma händer, inget kladd. Det finns dock ett minus - det går otroligt snabbt att tömma tuben eftersom den är så enkel att hantera. Den är billig och otroligt bra, har ni inte denna i er verktygslåda då måste ni skaffa en!
