This movie is very moving. What you see in it is as real as it gets, there is no fluff... It is so good to see a family that has taken everything that was broken, Give it to Jesus, Build, Grow and Share the Word of God with the World... That is what they have done... If you don't know the Robertsons... I encourage you to start here.. They have a powerful message to share with you...

This was a great movie sad at times but has a great ending. A True story about a family that loves hard, works hard but has its hard, difficult times. I watched it on T,V. and decided I would buy so my guests could watch it.

Great movie worth the money

This was the back story to Duck Dynasty. It was handled with honesty about the terrible effects, on a family, of addictions. A great movie!!

We were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of cinematography and well written script! This is an account of the life of Phil Robertson (family patriarch, double master's degrees, teacher, hunter, and founder of Duck Commander). The movie does not gloss over or minimize the impact of how he and his wife Kay grew up or the complete disaster Phil Robertson became while running from his pain. He was an unfaithful alcoholic and sometimes violent father who came to face himself one day and make a life-altering choice. As he puts it - if he can be saved from his terrible pain and subsequent choices, anyone can.I urge you to watch this movie and make up your own mind. There is no pressure or preaching or any other coercion which might 'offend' anyone. Just a true story about love and redemption.
