Paraffin Wax (Pack of 1 = 450g./ 1lb)

I've gotten back into baking after a 20 year hiatus and had a craving for Peanut Buttler Balls. The recipe calls for a quarter block of food grade wax to be melted into the chocolate chips so that when the chocolate around the dipped balls hardens it has a sheen. This is a great wax, works perfectly, is tasteless, and I think is the same brand I originally used all those years ago.

There's no big deal about this product. It does its job. perfected for canning and mixing with mineral oil to keep a chopping board looking like new. Ive used this for the last 50 years. ya i'm that old. My mom used to us it for canning. It seals well. I used jam that was 2 years old and tastes great, no mold.

Bought for the seal on the garage door. Rub it on the seal and no more sticking! Recommended by a garage door repairman. Worked great

Price possibly could be lower. But I’m not going to argue about something I can’t find in stores during covid right now. It’s like TP for some reason people are hoarding it. That said for eco friendly reasons I’d rather buy from our neighbors to the north in Canada and trade with them than China any time I have the opportunity. I use wax for many purposes. Stuck drawers and windows in winter. To make canvas shoes, coats and tents less susceptible to rain. And for cooking. To make fire starters for friends with fireplaces or for camping trips. Like I said there’s so many uses. I may try making a candle. I tiny one because this is expensive. I generally heat a knife blade over my gas oven to cut it into pieces. Easy to do! Delivered quickly and directly to my door. I recycle my boxes. Amazon has a program where you can too.

This product is used to wax coat items and for sealing jams and jellies

I used this for instrument joint cleaning . It crumbles easily one it is cut into smaller pieces . It is very difficult to break or cut in sections . I found the same product in the grocery store for 2/3 less of the cost .

My mom has RA and I gave her a paraffin was bath a few years ago for Christmas. This is a lot cheaper than buying a “beauty product” and comes without the annoying scents and dye.

They come in 4 slim blocks. And each block is divided into 4 parts. They are easy to break apart without a knife but the knife makes it a easy cut. Paraffin wax is very easy to get off surfaces.
