I too questioned the box size and assumed that it was just the magnet. Everything is in there though they are on the smaller size. I have posted a picture to show the difference. The magnet on the right is a Wildebeest 4250 lb Double Sided Magnet with a Double Carabiner Heavy Duty Double Braided 1/3” rope also 65ft.

This magnet has helped me find a lot of items in our nearby rivers. It may not pick up as heavy an item as it says it can(i'm not sure cos I cant lift that much:)) but it is really strong and keeps hold of the items until you drag it in, as long as it's magnetic you can pick it up! I highly recommend this product.

So this product is not great because it was thrown into the water and trying to pull it back the magnet came off of the rope but it was tied on there very well and not sure how it just pulled it off so lost it within the first week of having purchased would not purchase again poor quality rope

Our metal patio chairs got blown into the lake during the tropical storm. Bought 550x2 magnetic, hook into the chair immediately and pulled up from 12ft below water. Magnetic stayed attached the whole time.
