I was looking for a magnifying glass lamp to use with my WorkSharp Professional Precision Adjust knife sharpening kit and chose this one after browsing all options. It's exactly what I wanted. It has a nice large crystal clear viewing lens that really lets me see the knife blade I'm working on up close, well illuminated and with great detail. It offers variable brightness levels, 5 colored light options and both a table top base and side of table vice clamp. Build quality is excellent, it's also a very good looking product aesthetically and the adjustable arms move and lock up very well. The USB plug and cord is very light and discreet and plenty long which I also really like. And there's also virtually nothing to assemble when you remove it from the packaging. Very happy with the functionality and ease of use of this magnifying lamp for such a fair price. There are several much more expensive options on Amazon, but this one is the best of both worlds, a high quality magnifying lamp that looks and works great for a fair, low price. I have an Ott light floor model with a larger lens, but the stand is very heavy and it’s not portable. This was purchased to replace the cheaper gooseneck model with a plastic smaller lens. The lens, by the way, which was not the strong 10 X magnification that this one is. I’m doing some very fine lace knitting, with very small diameter, knitting needles. This magnifier is ideal. I love that I can use the heavy stand, which is large enough and well weighted. There’s no tipping over with this! Everything is perfect on this. Where the buttons are for the light and what kind of light, and that the goose neck adjust easily and holds its place. p.s. Photo shows the weight I am using when goose neck has to be extended. But this lamp also comes with a clamp that can be used instead of the broad round base, if desired..

I bought this to use at a desk where I work on my model train engines. The light works well and it moves around easily. The clamp to hold it down is not the best arrangement for me as my desk doesn't have a lip over hang for the clamp. It works ok without the clamp if I don't extend it out too far.

I really love this magnifying light. It is great for everything from reading tiny print to working on jewelry to making crafts. I've only had it a short time and have used it dozens of time already. Great magnification and very bright LED lights. Can be positioned many ways to meet your needs. The base is nice and heavy so it isn't tipsy and can be used on the base or mounted to your work area using the enclosed bracket. One of the best purchases I've made. A real eyesaver and frustration saver for close work. Well worth the money.

The magnifying glass is illuminated brightly. The magnifying glass has several different settings. The magnifying glass has 2 secure bases that tightly keep unit safe. There is either the heavy round base, or the adjustable screw clamp. You can easily move the unit for large messy projects, or move it closer or further away as needed. The magnifying glass arrives with complete USB charging. I suggest a protective soft cover also be included for protecting glass from dust and scratches. Bubble wrap packaging does not hold up long term.

I was not sure what to expect with this lamp, but I am really happy with it. The light and magnifier make it an excellent lamp for crafting. Very versatile and practical!

This magnification lamp seems to be well built. I’ve been using it for tying flies quite a bit and have so far enjoyed it very much. The magnification power is good and the clarity of the lens is very good. Would definitely recommend this product. If there was only one thing I could change, it’d be the length of the plug in cord.
