To be honest, I ordered this out of sheer desperation. My apartment had mold hidden in the walls, under the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and had leaks in the roof. Finally convinced management to repair everything (we threatened to sue) We were out of our apartment, staying in a hotel, waiting for repairs and this is when it dawned on me I would have to throw everything out because it was now contaminated with mold spores. When we got back to the apartment, we could 1000% smell it in everything all of our clothes, rugs, carpets, bedding, furniture had a strange odor of feet/musty/mildew and sour. It was alarming and I wondered if that's how other people smelled us lol. I threw away most of our clothes, rugs, air purifiers, a/cs and even our mattresses.. but given we couldn't afford to throw away ALL of our clothes, even though it completely irritated all of my families lungs/eyes and throats. We decided to buy this detergent... when I tell you, my son's eyes and my eyes were blood shot, throat were itching, eyes were beyond itchy, Until we washed our bedding, our clothes and curtains with this detergent. We used a cap full per load and it worked. The odor was gone, the allergies eased up and my son and my eyes went back to semi normal. This paired with an air purifier (life savers). I wear gloves when touching this detergent, it isn't scented but definitely smells like something. The bottle itself is very small but I can't believe I found something that works. I would recommend it time and time again. And will definitely be purchasing more in the future, until we can leave to a much more inhabitable apartment.

Three of the four of my family members have severe allergies. All of our clothes are washed exclusively w this detergent. It has no smell. It’s clear. It works! Period. The price is more expensive than what u would get in just regular detergent for clothes, but the non allergy attacks are so worth it. I have been buying this detergent for almost three years, it’s worth it! Thank you amazon n mfr for a great product!

Since using the product, I have noticed a decline in my allergies. I’m allergic to cats and live with a very fluffy one, so any product that helps get rid of dandruff is great. It’s much smaller than I was expecting, especially for the price. But that’s my own fault for not reading the details.I chose to ignore all the “this product leaks” reviews and wish I hadn’t. Believe them! Unless you’re one of the lucky few, this product will arrive leaking. Mine came with a crack in the seam of the bottle. Had to use duct tape to seal it up.

I was skeptical as I had already tried a handful of detergents specifically meant for mold and they didn't work at all. I've also tried essential oil blends, hydrogen peroxide, oxyclean, etc... nothing worked. I reacted to all of my clothes and this expensive little bottle was my last hope.I did have to use it twice for my clothes (which at this point had been washed back to back at least 10 times)The first time there was definately a noticable reduced allergic reaction. The second time I could wear my clothes again!I wish the bottle was larger for the price. It really is small. But if you're suffering from mold exposure or allergies this stuff genuinely works.I was also worried if the scent would be heavy or irritating and it was neither.This stuff has touched my hands numerous times too and zero reaction.I highly recommend this product!

I have very sensitive skin and have struggled for years to find a laundry detergent that doesn't cause skin issues. I've been using Ecology Works Anti Allergen Solution for a year. I've had no skin issues - no itching, no burning. What a relief! It takes a very small amount for a full load of laundry, so it is also very economical. A great product!

This is the best detergent I have found for eliminating aspergillus mold from clothing. (I know our mold problem was aspergillus because I hired a private company to come and test the air.) It works in cold water, which is a godsend for delicates. The common wisdom is to wash moldy clothes in hot water, but if you do that with lingerie or a silk sweater, you ruin the piece. This lets you keep your nice clothes that, through no fault of their own, became infected with mold spores.If you are dealing with a mold problem, you have my sincere condolences. I spent a year of my life learning to deal with mold, and I want to offer some other advice to save you some time:- Get an air filter with ultraviolet light. This is the only thing that will really kill the mold in the air. Hospitals use UV to protect immunocompromised patients. Simple HEPA won't do it.- Get hypoallergenic encasements for your pillows, mattress, and comforters.

I use this on my laundry and have for years, regular detergent makes me itch. However, the price on this is getting ridiculous. I have tried pure& clean and some other laundry soaps in hope of saving a couple of dollars, but they also irritate my skin. There is no reason for this to be so expensive, was half the price a year or so ago.

I am a long time allergy sufferer (mostly dust mites) and I may behind the times but I did not know that they made allergy laundry detergent until recently. :( This is the first product that I have tried so I can only compare it to regular free and clear detergents. I have noticed a difference! It is helping! I have less breathing problems and my sinuses are less congested. If only it could wash the world! :)It is less expensive than some of the other products but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It is fragrance free and has not broken out my sensitive face.
