Nicely made and with a wooden base, these sign holders do look a lot more classy than the folded all-plastic alternatives.The magnets are strong enough to hold together securely and squarely, and they slot into the base quite firm using a ribbed silicone strip.I did wonder whether the base would detach itself too easily by simply lifting the sign up, but it's got more than enough grip to hold it in place with normal handling.The thickness of each plate is 2.5mm (the 5mm shown in the listing is for the 2 halves placed together).When the protective film is removed, it's as clear as glass.The 4 magnets give the impression that the sign has been riveted together, like your enclosed sign has been 'manufactured for the job', not just slotted in.These magnets will however leave a small indentation in whatever you place in there over time, so I would weary of putting in anything important/cherished which you intend to permanently frame afterwards. plus, all 4 edges aren't sealed so mishaps/spills would go straight into the document.Be careful when cleaning, because this acrylic stuff can mark quite easily... not just with sharp objects, but any cleaning cloth with the slightest bit of grit in them. (Hand washing in warm soapy water is probably the best, followed a dip in a bowel of water containing dishwasher 'rinse-aid').It's a very good set, and for their intended purpose and fast-swappable capability I don't think you would find anything better at the current price.Recommended... 5-Stars.

what I like about this is that you have 6 and you can put photo in there that would keep them safe and you can use both side of the frame love it and it makes the room nice what ever you put it.

The acrylic slates are very thin but sturdy and don't bend, they do have very sharp corners though.The magnets are not the strongest in the world so if you have a thicker sign it may not hold that well.The silicone inserts are applied on the bottom and then slotted into the wood holder, they very securely stay there and won't get accidentally pulled out.Overall the look is very crisp and clean but it is easy to scratch up.

These sign holders are fantastic quality. They arrive with a plastic film over so to ensure there are no scratches on them. They are easy to put together and the wooden base means they stand firm. I've used ones with plastic bases before which only last a short while before breaking. If you need to change the inserts, the design of these holders allows you do to so quickly and without damaging anything.

These work really well. I love the genuine wooden base, which feels a bit more classy than the standard fold-back or plastic version.I also really like the little silicon seal that makes the acrylic panels fit very snugly into the base. Everything feels really solid when it's together. The wooden base also adds a little more weight, making them less likely to be knocked over.The acrylic sheet is a good thickness, and comes with its protective sheet still on, so it's totally scuff-free. Really nice crystal-clear acrylic.It almost feel like the little magnets are unnecessary on the main acrylic sheet, as the design feels so solid. But I have to admit they're really handy at keeping everything stable when you're positioning the paper inside.All in all a really classy version of the standard menu holder. Great for cafes and for craft stalls.Recommended.

I opted for the six pack in A4 size as selected these to donate to my local church for displaying their notices in the church foyer. These are easy to put together and have magnets in the corners to hold the two sheets of clear acrylic together. The rubber strip is slid onto the bottom of the acrylic and then simply pushed into the wooden holder.I would say they are perhaps a tad flimsy, the fit of the rubber strip into the base is just slightly loose so they do move a little. But it's very easy to insert an A4 sheet (or two if using double sided) and they stand vertically well enough on a flat surface.The acrylic shipped with sheets of protective film which was slightly difficult to remove, and they have quite a bit of static initially which meant they picked up a lot of dust (see close up photo). Use of an antistatic wipe is recommended.At £22 for six the price seemed fine, though oddly the listed pricing was the same for a pack of three or a pack of six in the smaller A5 size.
