I wear an 8 1/2 Narrow which is incredibly difficult to find and when I do, they don't always fit. I ordered this in 8 1/2 N and 9N, ended up keeping the 9N so I would have room for socks. This is a wonderful shoe - As soon as I put them on I didn't want to take them off. The shoe is narrow as I hoped for, so that my foot doesn't fall out or slip out, my foot doesn't slide around. Yet it's not too snug, plenty of room in the toe box. Well cushioned these are extremely comfortable shoes. When you see the shoe, the heel area that extends outside the width of the shoe might look odd, but it looks fine when on and the heel is extremely comfortable. Fabric in the front and toes is perforated to keep them cool. My dog loves to walk in the wet grass but my shoes don't seem to get wet at all. These are my favorite shoes ever. My own concern is with the lace ups. Narrow shoe strings, small eyelets mean it is difficult to alter the fit using the shoelaces. If you have a wider foot, you can leave them the way they come. With my narrow foot I know I'm going to need to tighten them up. I notice the shoe is loosening up a little (after one week) and so I will have to tighten the laces to get a fit, I can see this will be a little tricky given the way the eyelets and shoelaces are setup. Hopefully I will be able to get the fit I need. Review: Great for narrow feet, Gore-Tex layer adds stability - Former shoe store manager here. These shoes do run narrow and possibly slightly small. That is due to the Gore-Tex layer added to the inside of the shoe. I got lucky with these shoes because I have very narrow feet. I usually can’t wear anything wider than a AA width, but these B-width ones Adrenalines fit me perfectly. A tiny bit tight in the toes but I’ll deal with that (shoes don’t stretch lengthwise BTW, so don’t do what I’m doing unless you have very few shoe choices like me). I also lucked out that the Gore-Tex membrane makes most shoes stiffer. I can’t wear the normal new Adrenaline 24s or 25s because they aren’t as stiff/stable as the old Addiction runners. I need that extra stability for my severely over pronated feet. These Gore-Tex Adrenalines keep my feet and ankles stable through my stride. I wish Brooks would keep making the Addiction 15 runners in Black. Aesthetically, all the new foamy, bouncy running shoes are fun, but I have not found one pair from any brand that is good for my feet. When you first try on those bouncy shoes at the shoe store, you’ll think “wow these are comfortable!” But then you wear them all day the next day and realize your back hurts, your ankle aches and you’re more tired than usual. That’s because that bouncy foam has not been keeping your foot stable enough and your whole body has been working harder to balance all day. I have several pairs of running shoes mistakenly bought and worn stashed under my bed that I’ll no longer wear because of the bouncy foam and lack of stability. So I’m pleased these Gore-Tex Adrenalines ran super narrow and are stiff. My first 2-mile hike in them went wonderfully. My feet were dry even though it rained lightly throughout the hike.

great shoe for running and work!
I bought these shoes for work and for running, since i’m on my feet a lot for work and i want to have a comfortable supportive shoe. I’m very pleased with the traction, support, and durability. I’ve had these for about six or seven months and they’ve held up very well. They’ve gotten dirty since they’re a light color, but I expected that. Typically I’m a size 8.5, but for these I bought a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I like that the guide rails in the arches keep my foot and ankle even, preventing the uneven wear of my shoes since i have very high arches and tend to put more pressure on the outsides of my feet.

For what it’s worth, it lasted long
I bought these April 18 2025. It is now Nov 16 2025. I work in the hospital where my job is made up of nonstop walking for most of my shift. These shoes started off comfortable. Nice && airy feeling, perfect size, a bit of an arch support. However around August, the cushion was mostly flat. Around the end of September, the 1st hole was formed. October, my feet is killing me from the flatness && you can see my sock. To now, I hate having to wear them. Overall, the shoes lasted longer than I expected. Definitely longer than other shoes I’ve tried. Recommend it if you don’t walk as much as me. I easily hit 8k+ a shift

Great shoes!
If these shoes could have 10/10 stars I'd give it to them! These shoes have been the most comfortable and durable shoes I've ever owned. They are lightweight and good for walking and standing for long periods. As a nurse good shoes are important! Definitely recommend Brooks anytime someone ask!

Compared to
Sizing is spot on and show box area is as expected. I have owned previous versions of Brooks Ghost with great comfort and satisfaction with my foot fatique and was upset when they wore out after 2yrs and to save on cash then switched to Sketchers but found the Sketchers wore out very quickly ( every 6 months was replacing for 2 yrs) so wanted to invest in Brooks again so recently decided to invest in Brooks again and since having never worn the adrenaline line from Brooks before, I invested in these and wanted to compare my previous Brooks purchase of the Ghost, the Sketchers and now the Brooks adrenaline and I can say throughly loved my Previous Brooks in the Ghost, loved my Sketchers but replacing every 6 months became pricy but my feet were happier after working long hrs on my feet and now experienced the new adrenaline line from Brooks; here is my personal experience that I have to share /comparison of the 3 different brands: Brooks ghost/Brooks Adrenaline vs the Sketchers: adrenaline are the heaviest when compared to all 3 but great quality but require a pricy upfront investment; arch support is equally fabulous providing pain relief to the arches, the Brooks adrenaline kept my heel in alinement and provided ample room in the toe box. BrooksGhost provided in comparison a great orthotic support reduction in foot pain and arch support. Unfortunately I did return these due to being to heavy & creating fatigue in knees /ankles so if you have had previous issues in this area you may find this to be the case as well. Would love to note however unbiased in The versatility of none slip sole and ankle support were great additions to this shoe. The all black color was perfect match with my black scrubs but couldn't get past the heaviness in the weight that ultimately creating fatigue and stress on my joints and this is why I had to remove 2 stars since ultimately they were returned for a refund. If this is an issue for you this is good to know prior to investing however if not you will enjoy this shoe.
