Best protein with good taste
My husband and I live this protein. We get all out nutrients in this product without it ding filled with fillers. They have many different flavors but thus flavor works best with my greenzone veggie scoop.

Bring Your Own Scoop (BYOSS)
I got the chocolate flavor, and it tastes a bit like Swiss Miss--not bad! I like this. For me, it's a good change of pace from the vanilla flavor of the "Gold Standard." I'd say this ISOLIT mixes better than the Optimum Nutrition (ON) products than I'm used to. This one leaves just a few seasame-sized floaters--far less than what I usually get. I mix manually with a spoon. For the nutrition, I'd say it works. The label and ingredients are fairly clear. The sweeteners appear to be coconut oil, "corn syrup solids," and sucralose, but zero Added Sugars. That's some nutritional math for you! Some folks may not like "Natural Flavor" present but I'm willing to give this a pass. Having the choice between the two, I find myself reaching for ISOLIT more often. However, I avoid it in the evenings though because of the caffeine present in the cocoa.Let's get personal: I'm a man in my early 40's and, as odd as it is to say, I'm glad that the Primeval Lab powder doesn't make me feel bloated. (On the other hand, the "Gold Standard" powder from ON does make me feel bloated for some reason.) The chocolate ISOLIT is a bit sweet but there is no unpleasant aftertaste like some other brands. Finally about that scoop: I'm a collector of protein scoops. I like to have extra scoops in case one gets buried or if I need to dig a well in the backyard. The volume of scoops help me track the passage of the seasons. However, I'm halfway through this canister, and I still haven't found the Primeval Labs scoop!. Therefore, a word to the wise: BYOSS, Bring Your Own Scoop. The extra "S" is for BYOSS.

Whey with gluten
I regularly have shakes, often with Whey powder.I was excited about a fun flavor. However, my body doesn’t function well with gluten and, unfortunately, this whey powder has wheat flour in the second ingredient. The photos are so small on the description that I couldn’t see that it contains wheat. The best testing I could do was smell it (it smells very good!) and have my gluten-tolerant daughter try it. She really likes the Graham cracker “crunchies” and said the flavor is good. This container, at time of review, is $49.99, for a very large container. This is a very reasonable price.Overall, I like the idea of different flavors but don’t like that gluten was not disclosed.

Protein that actually tastes good
I don't know any of the science behind this stuff. All I know is it usually tases horrible and this actually tastes good and is reasonably priced, all I need.

Isolate is the first ingredient listed, and it's tasty
The first thing I like is Whey Protein Isolate is the first ingredient listed. Many of the Isolate formulas are blends which have Whey Protein Concentrate first and then Whey Protein Isolate next. This lists only Whey Protein Isolate. This is a good thing since the Isolate is easier to digest and process than the concentrate which can wind up bloating people. There is nothing that says the 25g of protein is directly from the Whey Protein Isolate or includes the nitrogen count from the BCAA and EAA amino acid chains. Of the ingredient layouts this is one of the more clear labeling products out there in this category. With this clarity attempt I will give benefit to the manufacturer to be providing a quality product.Mixing this up is easy with a glass and a spoon. I prefer to use a small stand mixer, but I wanted to see if it would mix alright without the high speed blender action. It worked just fine. Now that I know that I can go back to adding a couple ice cubes or frozen fruit pieces in to cool the shake and maybe add in some fruit. The flavor is tasty. I don't get any gritty feel in the shake so it is easier to want the next one. The chocolate is a light chocolate flavor, a refreshing change from the heavy, syrupy flavor profiles I've found in other chocolate shake blends.Overall, this seems a quality whey protein isolate shake. Enjoy this an other flavors.

Not too chalky, good strawberry flavor.
The protein powder has a strong flavor of strawberries. It reminds me of strawberry ice cream. The shake is a little sweet for my taste The blend is not too chalky tasting when I use unsweetened almond milk. I put it in a shaker cup and did shaking for about 50 turns. As I drank it, I did have a few piece that did not break up so make sure you either shake it very hard or let it set up for a few minute for it totally dissolve. I tired blending in my blender and it was really smooth and delicious. This is a personal taste and if you like a strawberry shake or smoothie, this will not only add the protein your muscles require, it will give it a good strawberry flavor in a smoothie shake also.

Diner vanilla is very vanilla, easy to mix with water, easy cleanup
I ordered the diner vanilla whey protein powder and the vanilla flavor is pretty strong. Not disgusting strong but not faint or weak. I mix in a teaspoon of orange metamucil and didn’t taste it as I slammed down one scoop of this powder in about 16 oz of water. I use a shaker bottle and it was very easy to get the powder fully mixed into the water. It made about a quarter inch of foam, which was odd. I’m not a shaker bottle shaking machine, just half a dozen, maybe a dozen, shakes. Dunno, I don’t count. As for cleanup – very easy. The bottle pretty much cleaned itself when I shook it twice with fresh water.Yes – there is a scoop buried in the powder. Yes – this is one of those plastic jars you can reuse for years if you end up with that bagged powder and need a better container.
