I have always had a hard time fitting a helmet or a hat to my head. My head is rather large (7 5/8 hat size) I ordered an XL and fully expected to have to send this back. It is initially slightly snug, but the pressure is even and will break-in within a few hour of use- no presure points at this time. Tghe quality of the helmet has exceeded my expectations based on the price. Some reviewers indicated wearing glasses is a struggle - I will say it is tight but my glasses fit fine.

Bell advertises that the Rally 500 is dual certified DOT and ECE. The helmet did not come with the ECE cert decal on the back so I will not be able to use it this summer in Europe. I tried to call the seller but they didn't answer the phone. I wanted them to check their inventory to see if they had one in stock with the correct decal on the back. I would have swapped it out had they made the effort to answer their phone. So they lost a sale because nobody wants to actually work. Good luck to them.

Buy one size bigger than Bell size chart.

Bought this helmet mainly for the paint scheme. Looks great and fits comfortably.
