I only have fitted carpet on the stairs, landing and bedrooms all cream coloured. Shag pile rug in sitting room and wipe your feet mats at the all the entrances to the house. I also have a dog, two cats and a husband none of them capable of wiping their feet. Three of them I can forgive! I have a Vax carpet cleaner and clean the carpets every 6-8 weeks using this Pro-kleen shampoo. I get great results and the scent is lovely; I’m aware of it for at least 48 hours. I find it economical and obviously cleaning the carpets with my own equipment is so much cheaper and more convenient than hiring equipment or calling in a company.

Used this in a carpet cleaning machine and it performed better than the well-known brand which came with the machine. Lovely smell to it, great cleaning performance, and a bulk bottle for the price of a much smaller one! Great product.

It's OK and smells nice without being to floral. But it didn't get dog pee stain out as well as I'd hoped so we've bought a rug. It certainly freshened up the place, used in a Vax carpet cleaner no problem.

Usually always use the vax brand carpet shampoo with my vax carpet cleaner, tonight try this shampoo and it looked good value for money, and it’s amazing! Brought all stains from my grey carpet (toddler and baby in house) will only be using this one from now on. Smells fresh aswell.

To start, is the price is amazing for the amount. After only using vax and not being impressed, I decided to give this a try after many great reviews. I was so shocked and very impressed with the results and it smells amazing. Won't be using nothing else.

First a little background. I work in a residential block and the plain mid-grey carpets in the lift lobbies hadn't been cleaned in the five years the building has been open. I'm a building manager rather a cleaner but know the associated SSOW's and I'm COSHH aware. The stains in the carpets were a combination of trodden in external matter and leakage from bin bags like soy sauce, wine and milk. I loosened the stains first with Dr Beckman's brush on stain remover, wiping off any excess with a damp cloth. I then used Pro-Kleen to wet vac the whole floor and the results were dramatic to say the least and have resulted in a few gifts from grateful residents. There are still a few very light marks on one or two floors but over 95% of the staining is gone and the carpets look nearly new rather than fit for the knackers yard. Can't say how much of the work is done by which product but as a combined treatment, they are as good as what you'd get from many professional companies.

This carpet shampoo was OK but it left a strange smell behind and not a nice fresh smell. Carpets looked a bit cleaner after but I've used better carpet shampoos

Has a funny smell like urine, when first opened. Assume that's the ammonia in it. Luckily that smell doesn't transfer to the carpets. Does what it's supposed to. No worse or better than other carpet shampoos I've used.
