Hot Wheels HW Braille Racer Twin Mill, Experimotors 4/5 [Silver] 85/250

My 6 year old has a genetic disorder and is learning braille already in school so these cars were an awesome find to help him practice in a playful way too!

I love that Hot Wheels made some cars with Braille on them and wish more toy makers would as well. My son was so devastated when he went blind 5 years ago bc of his hundreds of hot wheel sets that are now difficult to play. This is perfect for him. He will be so excited! The braille is not just on the packaging but on the car itself as well.

A very cool and unique Hot Wheel. I had someone who is a teacher of the visually impaired look at it and they told me it is Grade 2 Braille. The clear part of the packaging and every side of the car have braille. The top of the car is printed with #68. The top side of the car is metal and the bottom is plastic and is very shiny chrome. The bottom oval shape is textured similar to the top of the two motors. This is a very cool model and would be great for anyone's collection.

My student, who is blind and loves cars, was so excited to get a car that he could read without asking someone to tell him what was on it. I'm so grateful Hot Wheels made this car. In addition to being inclusive for individuals who are blind, I hope people who are not blind purchase this product to have exposure to braille and, indirectly, individuals who are blind.
