I'm not Desi, but Diwali is becoming more mainstream where I live. I looked into the holiday and I love it so much. It's a wonderful holiday about the returning of the light. I really hope more people start to enjoy it. Why not? We could use all the good triumph over evil celebrations we can get. These decorations are simple and easy to set up. You just run your hands along the individual lengths until they fluff up. And they do. What wonderful cheerful decor. And if Diwali isn't mainstream near you, there's always Haloween, it will fit right in with pumpkins. I'll probably reorder and use it to decorate wreaths also, and maybe wrap along a string of fairy lights. I'm really delighted with them.

I put tiny tealight candles into the container and 2 minutes later, the plastic holder melted off and the lit candle fell to the floor in the middle of the party. They are pretty paper flowers with candle holders but don’t use real candles if you don’t want a fire hazard.
