Oh Yes I Can

I hated this album in 1989 and threw it away. Decades later I like it a lot, and have no regrets whatever about buying another copy.

Love this album. Only had it on music cassette so decided to purchase a CD..knew about its quality so no new surprises

Oh Yes I Can and Thousand Roads by David Crosby are excellent albums. David adds more jazz to his music while retaining a thread of the CSNY magic. I often wish he'd collaborate more with the other CSNY members particularly Graham Nash. I enjoy listening to the Crosby & Nash albums. David was originally part of Byrds, that 1960-1970's group, that contained Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman.

Not his best effort at all

Considering the length of time David Crosby has been around, his solo output isn't massive, but what he has put out is sheer class. There are some great songs on this album and as always Crosby performs with passion. This album is worth buying two of the tracks alone, "Drive my car", which is a soulful rocky number and the title track, which I think is one of his best songs he has written and is up there with Delta. Some of the production is so 1980s, but as it was recorded in the late 80's this is of its time. David Crosby has lived a life, which is reflected in his songs. He himself is as surprised as anyone he is still around today, let alone still performing. Crosby one of the most enduring voices in rock and can still belt them out today at the age of 70.
