Armitage Shanks Genuine S405001 Astra toilet seat and cover

It's a much more Comfortable seat. But overpriced.

There must a design flaw with this product because we are on our fourth seat! With only two rubber supports on the underside the seat cracks over time or if you don’t take care when you sit down! Nightmare & so expensive too!

I have been looking for a first class quality WC seat for a long time. I am delighted with it

The edges are a bit rough and there’s no sign of Armitage Shanks or the model Astra.

This is an exact replacement for my old seat. It fits, looks well and it is sturdy but obviously doesn’t last forever, otherwise I wouldn’t have needed it! A soft close feature would be nice.

I have fitted literally dozens of these. They are very comfortable, I am told, but very expensive and only have 2 supports so they eventually break and snag the back of your leg. I have changed what I fit now, to soft close seats, and only spend a third of the price with no complaints or call backs.

A replacement , I was pleased that it was an exact copy of the first one fitted 20 years ago . It only needed replacing because I spilt something on the original seat cover. Regards, M Woods.
