We purchased these carpet tiles as part of our basement Fan Cave project. We cut these tiles to create boarders and filler around other decrotive tiles we had purchased. They worked out perfectly. They are thick and adhere very well. They are easy to cut with a sharp blade, but are so course that the blades dull very quickly. Keep swapping the blades in the utility knife to keep the cuts clean. The carpet itself is very course, but not uncomfortable on bare feet. I feel like it would be too course to be comfortable for other bare skin (children playing, babies crawling, etc.). But for fan caves, garages, laundry rooms, etc., these are great!
