The Arlo video doorbell 2k 2nd Gen is amazing and very high quality!! The actual product design is sleek and stylish! Seems and feels to be made of high quality materials, very sturdy like this could last a long time so you’re getting what you pay for! Excellent value!! The installation was a breeze!! Literally from unboxing to ready to go probably took about 15 minutes! My favorite feature part so far has been the package detection, and the 2-way audio which has been helpful for grocery drop off!! A super cool feature of the Arlo doorbell is being able to see clearly in 2k even at night! The brightness and night vision are impeccable!! The coolest factor that is we can see all the way down the end of the driveway and out to the street! It has an excellent range of view!! It’s such a great system it actually functions as a real doorbell not just a camera with the chime plug in!! I’m absolutely over the moon and I feel like our home is fully secure! Thanks Arlo!!

Picked up this Arlo Video Doorbell 2k with Chime 2 to add to my existing Arlo camera setup. Getting up and running took just minutes. Connecting the doorbell via the app is quick and simple. Connecting the Chime 2 is easy too. Everything controlled and monitored from one place. Living in an older house, existing doorbell and chime placement can be a pain but no one wants to rewire their home. The Arlo Video Doorbell 2K can be wired in for power but battery is the way to go. Put it anywhere and even better, the Chime 2 can be plugged in wherever you want. My original chime was in the upstairs hallway where it was difficult to hear from downstairs. With the Chime 2 I simply plug it in where I want to buzzer and we're good to go. It's awesome to have visitors video go right to my phone. Answer like a normal video call, volume and sound are great, as is the picture quality. Night vision means being able to see your visitors no matter when they come calling and as long as you have decent WiFi in your home, you can place it anywhere you want. House, garage, wood shed, they're all an option if your WiFi has the range. Using the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K with Chime 2 has been great all around. Easy to setup and all the features I could want to make greeting guests simple, no matter where I am when they arrive.

Even though I bought this from the Australian site it arrived with a US plug. So you would need to have a place to have the chime where you can plug it in with an adapter. And they also don't include an adapter so that is an extra expense making it not a very good price on this site.

The doorbell works very nicely, the software is customisable, and the subscription fee is very reasonable!
