My new Janome machine is very picky about thread. So I was delighted when I took the wrapper off one of these variegated cones, loaded up a bobbin, and did a test run. Satin-smooth on close-in zigzag stitch, with no snagging or looping. Comparable quality to higher-priced variegated threads at my local fabric shops!

I’ve used these in my Brother Air serger without any issues. The colours match the pics shown- no surprises. My pics show the two different orange ones used. I wish it had more true reds, greens and yellows too. Note: The inner rims of the spools are a bit sharp as the plastic is not finished smooth. I donate baby blankets with serged edges. So, this set of 20 fun combos will go a long way. A great value despite the exchange rate and extra shipping cost to Canada. Absolutely worth it for my needs as variegated thread is hard to find. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this thread. I had issues with it breaking way to many times and I had to rethread my machine. Although the colors are pretty on the cone, when done in a design they are quite ugly. It’s colorful but but the color change is often.

opening this package was like getting a rainbow in the mail! the colors are SO vibrant and mixed and varied, i instantly fell in love and showed them to a sewing friend as soon as i could! i've only used a couple of them so far and while i may have had relatively low expectations of quality going into them, the two i've opened have been flawless on my sewing machine. winding the colors on the bobbin is excitingly mesmerizing, and theres MUCH less lint coming off of it than i had thought there would be. if i ever manage to get through the absolute mountain of rainbow polyester thread cones i now have, i expect i'll be itching to order them again...
