This is it! Having read and listened to reviews even on YouTube etc, I was able to discern which Carpet Upholstery & Area Rug Cleaner we would try. This met all of our "marks" if you will for what we were looking for. Good suction, power, light weight, and it cleans beautifully. Easy to put together, to use, and is so portable for our needs. We have, "had" light dirt build-up in a couple of areas, mind you, I watched dirtier stains/spots being cleaned with this machine & now I know that those videos or examples of how this machine cleans harder/deeper dirt & it actually does. You can see the removal dirty water etc as it is cleaning. Several attachments, no need for more & yes, I did view another Co's products that are based in my town where I live, but they did not compare to this one. It doesn't come with a storage bag, as I knew, so no worries, I simply ordered the bag (product info below) and this bag was spacious enough to hold my machine, so I'm set. Even though the bag states Bissell, THIS BAG holds my Shark StainStriker beautifully. This thing is the bomb. I had one of its competitors' products a few years ago and it was OK, but I needed a new carpet cleaner for my carpeted stairway (the only carpet I have in my house), and I already have a Shark vacuum and a Shark stick vacuum that I love, so I thought I'd give this a whirl even though it's a bit more expensive than some of the others. It didn't disappoint. Shark's come a long way in the reliability and finesse of its products from the first leaky iron I bought 20 years ago, and they're now among the best out there. This thing is perfect for cleaning stairs. All I can say is I'm really impressed. It's actually a lot quieter than I expected, super light weight with a convenient handle, both the cord and the hose store easily on the device (the hose nozzle even has a notch to attach to the unit's body). It came with both the base cleaning solution and an oxidizing booster solution, both of which have dedicated tanks (the solution tank must be filled with water and topped off with cleaning solution). Also comes with three brushes - a small one integrated into the hose for crevices, a 3" hand tool, a 7" hand tool (which is the one I used), and a "pet waste" tool with a small tank on it which I did not have to use, thankfully, LOL. Has a solid spray and cleans super well, and I was surprised with how much dark gray solution it extracted out of my stairway carpet. The hand tools have integrated brushes and it was quite easy to maneuver around and carry. Filling and emptying the three tanks (Water + cleaner, oxidizer and extracted waste tank) was super easy and all three just pull off of the unit. The waste and cleaning solution tanks have their own handles. I immediately bought a couple of bottles of replacement solution for future use. I also liked how they packaged it - they used recycled cardboard inserts and no styrofoam. Only two small things I think could be improved: The included power cord is fairly short, so if you want to clean something like a stairwell, you'll need a three-prong extension cord in all likelihood to reach your outlet. The cord could be longer. Also - the included cleaner bottle (Deep Clean Pro) was quite small, and might be good for maybe three tanks of water - and the Oxy Multiplier solution, which you'll use far less of, was much larger, which I thought was strange. It should be the reverse. The replacement units I bought of both were much larger. Small gripes, though. All in all, this thing is well executed and a great value and I'm really happy with it.

Works great on tough stains! This Shark StainStriker is powerful for a portable cleaner. It easily removed pet stains, spills, and dirt from carpets, upholstery, and car seats. Suction is strong, the tools are useful, and it’s easy to use and clean. Compact but very effective—definitely worth it!

So far so good. Got this last year (2024) and it has survived 3 dogs and 3 cats (1 passed away and we got another). Multiple different bodily fluids from all animals. And they surely do shed like crazy. It does a pretty good job of separating the hair from the liquids/fluids and getting rid of the stains, however who knows just how deep it actually goes. The sucking power isn’t as great as say a ShopVac, as the carpet IS still wet after we go over it a million times, even after cleaning off the hair from the head. But when looking in the tank it IS sucking up the nasty stuff, so clearly doing something. And our carpets don’t smell nor have stains and it’s been able to get up OLDDDD stains as well which is both impressive on the behalf of the machine itself and the solution in my opinion. I’ve used it on carpet, decor pillows, couches, etc. it’s done it all. Works fairly well. Just wish it had better sucking power so I could use more solution to make sure we’re fulling cleaning up and out those stains especially the old ones. Maybe just need to upgrade at this point.

After reading the reviews on this item, I decided to give it a try. The packaging is very heavy duty and secured the item well. The directions are simple to follow and the machine is easy to use right out of the box. Not only did it clean well, it did not leave my items soaking wet. The suction was powerful and effective. Once I was finished cleaning, emptying the dirty water from the device was simple. I was able to rinse and dry the used parts with ease. I highly recommend adding this powerful little tool to your cleaning arsenal.

I used it to detail my car seats that got some really bad stains. Excellent suction power, quiet, convenient size and weight. I liked that you could focus on cleaning and don’t have to change the tanks often. It was so efficient that I advanced faster than expected. The different tools are also very helpful. The nozzle sprays evenly and you can control how much cleaner you need to use. It cleaned old stains that I had not been able to remove before. The tools fit in places that I didn’t expect and I was able to do more cleaning than expected. My car bad smell was neutralized and it smells fresh and clean. It is perfect! I don’t have a before picture of all my seats, but it did an excellent job removing stains and suctioning the cleaning solution. Totally worth it.

Excelente aspiradora! Puedes aspirar sin mojar nada (como con cualquier otra), pero el hecho de poder lavar a la par de aspirar ayuda bastante para situaciones donde ya la mancha está muy agarrada a la tela.

I started using it to clean the sofa and the suction stopped working 5 mins in. I don’t know how to fix it or return it now, it’s money wasted. And they’re sending it to uae with a USA plug, that should be mentioned or sell it only in the us.

This product comes with an American/Canadian plug attached.....annoying as there is nothing in the blurb which states this. I have now had to purchase a converter and wait another week, for another delivery. Please can sellers give buyers important info like this up front where it can easily be seen.

Amazing device, cleaned my sofa and it looks like new now, removed all old stains from it.Highly recommended!

Nothing wrong with the product as I own it, and use it outside the UAE and it is excellent. In this case, though I did not check feel the need to check the power supply details so when I finally decided to use it (1/12/25) it turned out to be 120V and therefore not usable in this country without a voltage converter and anyone who has used these will tell you they are unreliable
