Does this cartridge remove radon?

No or maybe. Radon is radioactive. At best this cartridge will catch and hold the gas particles. The problem with that is that the cartridge in not in enclosed in lead. Radon is usually vented outside the building to the roof via a fan system near the source. Contact a pro for more info as I am not a pro.
