AMAZING froth, quality materials
Amazing froth with regular milk - serious volume of foam (you can choose from 2 foam volume settings). I've noticed almond milk doesn't froth quite as well, but I think that might just be the nature/makeup of almond milk. Have had it for about 1 year - mostly just use it to heat and froth milk, make hot chocolate/milk teas lattes. Tried making cold foam once - it's very powerful and almost turned the cream into whipped cream. Would have to play around more/keep a closer eye on timing if I were to try again. High quality materials and construction. Main reason I chose this over other similar products was the stainless steel cup. Most other products are plastic or coated with non-stick material. Stainless steel is durable, hygienic and non-toxic. Base feels solid, a good weight. Stainless steel cup is substantial and easy to clean - my mom has seen it from across the room several times and commented it's a nice-looking/quality-looking cup (without even knowing what it's for). Everything is still working well (use it ~1-3 times/week). Whisk has held up (definitely clean immediately after use for easiest cleanup, otherwise you might need to go at it with a toothbrush). Heating element, touch buttons, and magnetic element that spins the whisk still work like new. Tip: Follow the guide marks inside the cup - DO NOT OVERFILL, otherwise it WILL overflow while frothing. This means liquid + any solids (chocolate, mixes, etc.) that you might be adding, not just liquids. If you add liquid to the guide mark and then add solids on top of that, the total volume will exceed the guide mark and you'll get overflow.

Kicks the Pants Off Nespresso!
This is, far and away, the best frother I've owned and I've only had it for a few hours. It beats the pants off of the frothers from Nespresso, which are almost twice the price! Let me explain why. First, and probably foremost on my mind, the carafe is dishwasher safe and much easier to handle than the giant all-in-one units most other manufacturers offer. I have zero skills at latte art, but there's actually a chance I might figure it out with this one. Second, the whisk part is much larger, allowing it to do a better job of aerating the milk and making a really nice, fine foam. It's not going to be quite as good as you would get from a steam frother on a proper espresso machine, but it's better than what I've ever seen from other brands. Third, the user interface is dead simple. Tap the button for temperature, choosing from one of three settings (cold, warm, and hot). Tap the button for froth level, again choosing from three settings (none, latte, and cappuccino), then tap the green start button and she's off to the races. The one I bought with my Nespresso Citiz years ago required an arcane combination of pushing and holding buttons to choose different temperatures and you had to swap the whisk for a paddle attachment, both of which were tiny and easy to lose track of, to choose your froth level. And fourth, the price can't be beat. Seriously, unless you want a cheap knockoff of the premium brands, you're going to spend north of $100 for one. This one was $60 without even catching it on sale. Even though I know it will keep me up late (it's already 7pm here), I just made the best at-home cappuccino I've ever had with so little effort and the cleanup took less than a minute. I can't wait to use this to make hot chocolate for my kids, lattes and cappuccino for my wife, and even cold foam to go with a good cold brew! It's so good it's got me seriously considering the brand for other kitchen appliances.

It died after 8 months
Bought this to replace the smaller instapot frother that I had for 6+ years (& used nearly daily). I had to replace it when the housing melted due to being too close to an electric fry pan. I loved it so much I grabbed this newer and larger version in the beginning of April 2025. To make my own frothed matcha lattes. It worked great for the first few months. I didn’t use it as much over the summer, started again this fall. I used it probably an average of every other day September-mid December. It’s loud enough that I know if it’s still mixing or is done. It does take a while to mix, especially compared the smaller unit I had before. Over the last 2 months it has either been not frothing completely, not heating properly, or just quitting the cycle early. In Mid-December it just quit heating. There is no heat at all and it doesn’t froth the milk when it’s cold. I mixed great, the buttons were easy to work. It mixed powders and pumps of flavoring no problem. It still mixes them in completely, but it is now just a glorified mini blender. Really sad that this only lasted 8ish months.

Perfect for the whole family
This gets used multiple times every single day and it lasted more than a year. The electric part quit recently and I hurried to buy another because we love it. Saved the pitcher from the broken one so now we can use it twice without needing to stop and wash in between. Love that kids can make their own drinks easily. It stirs and warms milk and cocoa powder to make hot cocoa in a minuteor so. The one-dot heat setting is perfect for little ones. Love that you can set it and walk away to do something else whileit works. Love that the kids can wash the pitcher and it can be completely submerged. Perfect for rewarming coffee. Makes a nice texture when you heat and whip the cream in this frother and then it keeps your drink hotter instead of cooling it down. The cool setting whips cream and sugar into a nice cold foam. Highly recommend.

Mostly Very Good but Slow
This is from someone who has had a total of three of these milk frother/heater contraptions over the past two years. I had one that lasted 1.5 years, one that lasted 5 months, and I have had this one for 1 month so far. Pros: 1. Very easy to clean. Basically every other model I've seen you have to be VERY careful to not get water in the base of the pitcher. And if you do, its going to kill the machine. But at the same time there's milk that has adhered to a mediocre non-stick coating. This model is VERY easy to clean. You can toss it in a dishwasher, the pitcher is able to just be fully submerged if you're cleaning by hand. Its fantastic to not have to think about that. 2. Heating and Froth. It functions well. I mainly use oatmilk, so that's my basis here. But it does well, milk is heated and frothed to a good consistency. Its no substitute for an actual steamer wand, but this is very easy to get good results with. 3. Ease of use. Set it and forget it. Very nice to not have to worry about this thing accidentally cooking milk to it if I leave it for too long. Cons. 1. Slow as molasses. Oh my god this thing is slow. And the other reviews said that. I was not prepared. At full blast (Max froth and heat with milk up to the "max" line) it takes around 8 minutes to complete. I've settled on max froth and one tick of heat and that's about 5 minutes. Overall a very nice machine that is really easy to use, but the slowness might be a dealbreaker for some people.

Outstanding foam and quality
Let me begin...I first purchased the Breville Milk frother because it was America's Test Kitchen top choice. Long story short I returned it in less than 1 month due to the frother stopped making foam, poor quality materials, and sometimes would not even come on. Amazon was great and accepted it back and refunded my full amount. Then my search continued....I just purchased my first Instant Pot Cooker about 1 month ago and knew it was made of great quality. That's why I decided to go with Instant Pot Magic Froth. First, with unwrapping I noticed the high quality of this frother. It is made of high grade Stainless Steel and the bottom was made of the same Stainless Steel quality (not plastic as my 159.99 Breville was). I used it with no manual instructions, yes it's that easy. I put 2 Tablespoons of half and half, a squirt of Torani puremade syrup and 1 packet of stevia. In 1 minute the froth you see in the pictures appeared. Never ever got this with my Breville. It makes enough froth for 1 person and it can make up to enough froth for several cups of latte's or expresso's. It was instantly hot, frothy and very smooth. I would hands down pick this frother over any out there so far. I will say, after use , clean up was a breeze. Also, the frothing whisk is magnetic made of high quality stainless steel with strong BPA free center. Yes, so far so good. Hope this helps someone looking for a high quality reasonable priced heated frother. Temperature of froth was about 160 degrees from my guess on hottest setting, there is lower temperatures you can choose if you want less heat. There are froth settings for thickest of froth also. It beeps when finished, it will go into standby mode after 5 minutes or simply unplug. Wonderful product!!!

What a mess!
Edit: I have now had this two days or four cups of coffee. I reduced the frothing to the first level. It stayed in the pot and still had the marshmallow texture I love. If you have the patience to allow it to finish its full cycle, the milk will get hot. But it takes a long, long while to run through its entire cycle to produce hot milk. I’ve decided I’m keeping it but with the understanding that I must start it up while I’m doing my morning routine and many, many minutes before I start preparing my espresso shot. I’m not the most patient person, so this thing will be a test for me. It takes forever! Original Review: I have the Breville version of the milk warmer/frother and love it and it still works great after three years of daily use. But it’s expensive. So, when I had to get an apartment in the city for work, I started looking for a cheaper version; it seemed silly to buy another expensive frother when I have one at my primary residence. So I bought this one because I have the expensive Breville multi-pot at my primary house and bought the Insta-Pot for my apartment and I actually like the Insta better than my Breville. Not true of the frother. This thing is horrible. I didn’t even fill it halfway and milk oozed out of the top between the lid and the pouring lip. I let it keep going thinking the mess wouldn’t get any worse and I’d just clean it up. But it kept going and going and going. I finally stopped it to clean the mess. The milk was nicely frothed with a creamy texture. Very nice. But the milk wasn’t warm and I had it on the hottest temperature setting. I did stop it early because it was taking forever and milk was going everywhere. This is a horrible little fancy frother. I’m going to return it and get the Breville.

Great Frother, Beware of Spill from Froth
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Update: Took out two stars. After using this for about 3 months, it broke. I had a bit more milk into the jar one day and it spilled, flooded the bottom base and so it seemed to damaged the wire inside the base. After cleaning, I plugged it back in the outlet, the base doesn't respond after I pressed for either cold foam or hot foam. it seemed dead. I see the flaw of design that it doesn't tolerate some spills like some other frothers. The base is very vulnerable to any spill that can leak inside and cause it to stop working. I have since started using other frother and looks like this one is dead. Would not purchase another one of this again. Great frother. I have a frother from Starbucks bought years ago, but it only makes hot foams. This little gadget can make cold foams which is interesting so I bought it. It makes lots of foams and works very well. I like the stainless steel pitcher, very easy to clean up after use. I am very happy with my purchase.
