These are great quality leather patches to sew on only. They even have pre cut holes to poke the sewing needle through, so that they are easy to sew onto any fabric item that needs reinforced patches to prolong the life of a garment.

I needed something to patch a rip in the leather seat of my mobility scooter, I tried the self adhesive ones and they were useless. Cutting one of these to shape and sticking it on with superglue was the perfect solution.

Sew them on a sweater much lower than you think they should be. If the holes are bad, consider putting in patches ‘back-to-back’ (inside & outside the sleeve). These patches will lengthen the life of my proper Norwegan sweater by a few years.

These leather elbow patches are soft and flexible and there are holes pre-punched around the circumference of the patch to aid easy attachment to the garment to be protected. I have a favourite wool jumper that is over 30 years old and had just started to go through at the elbow. These patches were in a complementary colour, and soft and flexible. They were easy to sew into place and for a modest price they have prolonged the life of my jumper, I might even get another 30 years out of the jumper now!

My husband leans on things, desks, tables etc. Most of his beautiful jumpers and wollens are getitng holes in the elbows. There was nothing else wrong with them, but the worn patches. I found these online and they have solved the jumper crisis! He does look a bit old manish, but then he is creeping towards 46 ;-). I have tried to match the jumper to the patch, and all his work jumpers have them. Hoping they will extend the life of his wollens. Chepa and cheerful, but come in a range of colours, and the pre drilled holes make sewing on easy.

I relied on the colour shown in the first two photos (at time of purchase) which, to my eyes, appears somewhat lighter than the Patches I received. I probably should have looked at all 4 Photos as, again, to my eyes, the 3rd and 4th Photos now appear to be a truer colour representation compared to the patches I received. Also, if you plan to use on a garment you would hope to include in a 'mixed wash' with other stuff, be careful - the Pack Instructions say something like: Hand Wash Only for a short duration in soapy water, not detergent. My Plan was to add these patches to a Corduroy Jacket, which would need to be Dry Cleaned from time to time. I'm somewhat undecided whether to use them, as I'm left uncertain what effect Dry Cleaning would have on these Patches and their colour.

The leather seems like it will stand up to the test of time. It's thick and unblemished, and the soft underside and smooth topside of the patches gives them a premium feel. There's a great number of (symmetrically-placed) pilot holes so I was able to attach them to my sweater's elbows pretty easily; maybe not as easily as if I'd bought iron-on elbow patches but I think this looks better.

Great patch easy to install. Arrived quickly. We used it to cover a hole in our Jeep Grand Cherokee seat caused by puppy paws. Holds well.

Queste toppe mi hanno salvato un ottimo golf di cachemire che ho da già diversi anni, e che con l'uso si era bucato su un gomito. Con poca spesa, quindi, avrò una ...prolunga di vita del golf. La toppa è realizzata in pelle molto bella, e quindi prevedo che col tempo non avrò delusioni. Prezzo più che accettabile, colore aderente a quanto mostrato su Amazon, spedizione super-veloce. In una parola: soddisfattissimo!
