When I put this on and cast it for the first time, I thought no way I’d catch anything. About the 5th cast I caught a small pike. It looks like a wounded perch coming in. I’ve found if I jerk it in it works better. Have caught both large mouth and pike with it.

My son and I decided to hit the lake and I used the opportunity to put this lure to the test and see how it handled. The first thing I'll note is that it is *big* and has a really good weight to it. With the size and weight of this hoss you can get a really decent cast distance and it helps with control on where you want to land it. The swim action on this is really great - looks very realistic. Unfortunately, the fish just weren't biting ... at least not for us. There was plenty of action out there, with *small* white bass and skipjack hitting the surface all around us, but nothing even looking at the lure. But that wasn't just with this lure - we tried everything. Just wasn't our day. I honestly really like this lure and can't wait to try it out again.All in all, I definitely like it and I think it earns an easy 5 stars, and at this price ($12) for such a stout, well-made lure, it's a great value. Definitely worth giving it a try.

This fishing lure swims great! It has a great action and looks super realistic! Highly recommend trying this lure out! Much bigger than expected.

Works well, the action is pretty nice, I could 100% see a large mouth taking this. It is a little large for what I usually use but it is still well within the realm of reason that a large mouth would bite this. Just look at the size dimensions in the description before purchasing.

The media could not be loaded. Ok so I admit I was a little intimidated by the size of this lure but within 20 minutes of using it, BAM! we landed this huge bass! It looks so real the fish don’t stand a chance!

My daughter is so happy!! This is the first fish she has caught while trolling ever. It was only a matter of maybe five minutes before she pulled this one in. This lure works great and looks well made too.Hope this helps and thanks..

This lure looks just like a real fish in the water! Made with care and the colors are beautiful. Can't wait to go on my trip to complete my "bucket list".Great purchase for any fisher man/woman!
