Upper control arm
Product is listed as Upper control arm to be used with a lift kit of 2 to 4 inch for nissan frontier and a few other vehicles. The factory control arm will have what's known as coil bucket contact which is where the Upper control arm hits the coil bucket (mount for the coil and shock) when a lift is installed (minus a few exceptions). The entire point of an aftermarket Upper control arm that is labeled as for a 2 to 4 inch lift is to somewhat correct the geometry that has been altered by the lift *!AND!* mainly to prevent said coil bucket contact which this product does not accomplish. This product is also very difficult to install in a nissan frontier. After the very difficult install due to a very tight fit I am able to drive down the road. I have put about 300 miles on the vehicle after this product install. I'm curious about any catastrophic mechanical failure I may encounter in the future. If you purchase this product for a nissan frontier be aware that it does not easily install. The other vehicles that it supposedly fits may be a different outcome. The other reviews I saw had no mention of the purpose of their purchase of this product, if it solved or created any issues.

Awesome A-Arms
These A-Arms are awesome they fit perfect and the tubes are big and look stout .

Quality steel tubing, but poor fit and awful ball joints.
I ordered these to replace the stock UCAs on my 2007 Nissan Xterra, which is lifted 2.5” in front using Bilstein 5100 strut assemblies and ADO HD coil springs with an ARB Deluxe winch bumper. Note that these are NOT adjustable, so you will need adjustable camber bolts to go along with them. They do provide significant additional clearance to reduce the risk of coil bucket contact, but they won’t help you get a lifted vehicle aligned. Good: They looked like great quality for the price upon unboxing, with quality steel tubing, good welds, and greasable ball joints installed (the stock ball joints are not greasable). They are definitely MUCH sturdier than stock, and they cost 1/4 the price of SPC or ADO UCAs. The Bad: Installation was unreasonably difficult for UCAs, with the bushings not fitting into the stock locations easily. I’m quite strong, and I still had to use a large dead blow mallet to get them into place. This might be due to Nissan using some mega impact wrench machine to install the stock UCAs at the factory, so I’ll cut the aftermarket some slack, but don’t expect them to fit right in, it’s gonna be some work. Now for the real downside: the ball joints don’t reliably hold grease. They seemed great for a week or so, but since then, I’ve had to re-grease them frequently to prevent squeaking and a burning smell. Said smell is indicative of the joints being dirty and being abraded, so I suspect the issue is that the grease boot is not properly sealed. Bottom Line: If I’d known what I know now, I would not have purchased these. Returning them after installing and greasing them is not practical, so I will run them until the ball joints get bad enough to be a safety concern, then replace them with SPC or ADO UCAs. I would appreciate some form of compensation from the seller, but I do not expect to hear from them.

Did Not Fit
Even though it states that it fits my Frontier, it did not fit. I spent all that time taking my truck apart to find that the UCA did not fit. I was very upset that all that time was for nothing. Do not buy these, even if it says it fits, because it does not.

Fitment is off
More than 1/2 inch wider than vehicle mounting points. Was unable to install as the arms were unable to fit into the brackets. Ordered another brand and those fit perfectly.

Dissapointed
After installing a leveling kit on my 2016 Nissan Frontier 4x4, the factory upper control arms suddenly were hitting the strut mount when coming off a bump. Unfortunately these do also. Very dissapointing I only gave it 2 stars because they look nice...

Maybe a 4 star
I have mixed feelings on these a-arms. I installed these on a lifted xterra and a competitors set on a Frontier. I like the finish and appearance of these and the bushings looks like a factory style (not able to be rebuilt) and should last a long time. But, the competitor version uses aftermarket style bushings and includes grease zerts. With proper maintenance, these should last longer and allow better "feel" through the suspension. Plus the bushings can be replaced if needed. For the same cost, I prefer the design that allow them to be greased and rebuilt. Thus the reason that I rated as 3 stars aka average.

Exactly what I wanted at a great price , where as others suppliers were 40% more the cost.

The SKUCH control for the Nissan Frontier is a great way to upgrade your vehicles suspension while also maintaining the factory ride quality and durability. The product comes packaged securely with foam inserts separating the parts to prevent scratches during shipping. The product is finished in a nice powder coated black, however, unlike the product images, the SKUCH logo is not present on the actual item. Of course, this doesn’t affect the function but is worth mentioning. A significant point worth considering before buying is that these are not an exact fit despite the claims on the product page. They do fit with some messing around; however, it is not easy. Definitely consider getting a mechanic to install these. They also do not appear to provide any extra lift on the vehicle, but they are certainly more robust than the OEM parts as the diameter of the arms is greater, and they are much heavier and sturdier feeling. Finally, these are not adjustable so you will need additional equipment if you need to adjust these. Overall, at a price of $255.97 at the time of ordering these perform adequately despite the aforementioned issues, and I can recommend these for those with mechanical knowledge.

The Skuch front upper control arms are easy to install and durable. The control arms arrived in a box with ample packing, keeping them secure during transit. Unboxing revealed two identical control arms, pre-greased and featuring a tough, black powder-coated finish. Installation on my 2012 Pathfinder was straightforward. The greasable ball joints made aligning the control arms easier, and the provided hardware fit precisely. The most notable improvement is the tighter steering feel. Previously, the car felt a bit loose on uneven roads, requiring minor corrections. Now, the steering is noticeably more responsive, especially at highway speeds. Additionally, any clunking noises I used to experience when turning corners have vanished. Overall, these control arms seem like a quality replacement for the originals. Full marks from me!

These upper control arms are constructed from high-quality steel and feature a robust mounting bracket, ensuring exceptional strength and durability. This thoughtful design promotes smooth movement through the ball joint, contributing to a safer driving experience. Installation is straightforward, especially with the assistance of a handyman, as these arms are direct-fit replacements that facilitate easy steering alignment. They are designed with tubular arms and polyurethane bushings, which provide superior durability compared to traditional rubber components. Additionally, the inclusion of greasable copper fittings and pre-installed dust covers helps minimize wear from dirt and debris, ultimately extending the lifespan of the components. By upgrading to these upper control arms, I can elevate my driving experience, gaining the reliability and performance needed for any road condition.

I recently tested out the Front Upper Control Arm for 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier, 2004-2012 Pathfinder, and 2005-2015 Xterra, and here's a breakdown of its features to save you scrolling through a book of details and my experience using it: The Good Stuff - Sturdy steel construction that feels durable. - Significantly improved clearance, reducing coil bucket contact. - Greasable ball joints – a step up from stock. Opportunities - Non-adjustable, so camber bolts are needed for alignment. Bottom Line: Great build quality but need to be handy or a mechanic to install.
