Cute and Fun
Given that you’ll see the same kits under different brands, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this. Overall, however, I was pleased. The wood parts pop out decently well and aren’t very flimsy. They can withstand some pressure and popping pieces together and apart a few times. There are a few extra copies provided for certain parts (but not others) just in case you do break something. There were times I put a piece in the wrong way and I managed to undo my work sans catastrophe, but you do have to be careful—a lot of wiggling with constant, gentle pressure to avoid breakage. In the end, I completed the kit having only broken one of the tiny brackets used to hold up the shop sign, and I was able to repair it fairly easily. If you’re new to these kits, know that you should have glue on hand. (I used jewelry glue, but anything with a thin applicator tip should work.). It will be called for in some places, but will be useful if you need to fix something OR if you need to fix something in place. A few of the tinier elements were very loose and kept falling out, and I found the solution was to add a little glue. The kit does not come with any building accessories other than some stickers you’ll need to hold the wiring in place, and a tiny file to shave off any sharp bits. You will also have to supply your own batteries. The instructions are decent. I discovered at the end that I had missed a few pieces (accessories, not structure) and in the end I had a piece I wasn’t even sure was in the instructions anywhere. Because the order isn’t always intuitive, if you get to the point where you’re assembling the walls and you have “decorative” pieces left, flip ahead and make sure those are coming up, because it’s possible you left them behind. There were also, as mentioned, a few cases where I installed something backwards due to how the diagrams are drawn. You’ll figure these mistakes out pretty quickly, but some pieces are easier to take apart than others. The light was an absolute pain to install, but I eventually did it. I am not sure how I will ever access the batteries, as the door doesn’t seem as pliable as the picture would indicate. That is a problem for the future. This was my first time making one of these. I worked on it on and off for about five days, stopping when my fingers were sore. I’m not sure how many hours that is, but it was several episodes of a couple of shows that are in the 45-60 minute range. These kits are just about to scale with Nendoroids, which was a big part of why I wanted to get some. Those figures do fit into the scenery pretty well. That is, they’re just tall enough to fit through the door, but their proportions mean their feet would be dangling if they sat on those stools. I have some 5-6” BJD figures and they feel a little bit too big, but also don’t look terrible scale-wise. If you’re into that sort of thing, which I am. Anyway, it was a fun way to spend the Christmas holiday weekend, and it came out pretty good. The price was decent as well, but I caught it during a promo period. I think I’m happy with the quality for that price, but might have different feelings if I had paid much more.

BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER 😍 DAYS worth of fun!!!
My husband got me this for Christmas last year and it took me a while to get to it, and I’m so upset with myself for waiting so long because I had SO MUCH FUN!!! I obsessed over this from the moment I started until it was done! I finished it in a total of about 5 days but I used pretty much every spare second I had working on it 😂 It was so therapeutic to snap all the little pieces together! You make all the small pieces bit by bit before putting it all together and each piece felt like an accomplishment! I showed my husband every little part and said “Look! I made this! It’s so realistic!!! 😃” 😂 I felt my stress levels lower so drastically as soon as I started this project! ❤️ I LOVE the finished look too! It is so magical! I actually have it sitting on my bookshelf in my library right next to my tarot card collection and it is like a little portal to another world! It added so much life to that shelf! It’s the perfect addition to any library and the PERFECT HOBBY for anyone that likes to get crafty! I loved it so much I asked him for more this Christmas 😂 My ONLY problem was the cauldron! Almost every single one of the pieces broke, and there were no extras (which was surprising considering all the little pieces that had extras included that didn’t break lol). I almost gave up and bought a miniature plastic cauldron instead, but I’m really glad I decided to get creative with what I had instead because it looks so good in the finished piece! I obviously managed it after much trial and error in the final products as it’s clearly in the video, but I had to use hair clips like wood clamps to glue a lot of the pieces back together (so if you come across this problem, that solution works GREAT! Lots of glue and a whole day to dry and the pieces are SOLID! lol) 😂 That was the only frustrating part but in the end it felt like a creative accomplishment lol 🥰 The light system is also really cute and easy to set up! I was intimidated by that but the instructions are really clear and simple, and I loved how the different wood pieces clipped around it to hold it in place or disguised it to blend in! These are perfect gifts! The price is so affordable for how much enjoyment I got out of this! Highly recommend!!!

Adorable Book Nook! Great Quality!!
This is a very good quality book nook kit. It’s wooden, not plastic. I did need to buy some craft glue. I really enjoyed building each of the pieces that go inside, and assembling the walls, and putting it all together. The finished book nook looks great!! I feel so accomplished!! And it looks great in the space where I chose to showcase it. I will definitely be purchasing some more of these kits. So much fun!!!

Super fun project!
This was so much fun! It took two days and I really enjoyed putting this together. The instructions could be a little better but other than a few steps, were fairly easy to follow. The structure is very sturdy and looks amazing! The pieces are good quality and there are backups provided for the ones that are more delicate. But I never needed to use a backup! The details in this are amazing!

Influencer Tested? So What!
So the ad above says, "Influencer Tested." Friends, do you really care about what these people say or do? Really? If so, then you need to get a life, step far away from that nonsense, and be your OWN influencer upon you, your children, and your children's children! Influencers only influence me to be more influential with not paying any attention to who they are or what they do. I am my own person. Besides, "influencer" is a ridiculous word to describe the majority of them, who are social media addicts and/or attention zealots that have no life, no money, no career, and a permanent residence in their parents' basements. What they really need is a bit of counseling and some influence of their own to do something constructive with their time left on earth. Something that is truly meaningful beyond their own selfish and unforgiving cravings of popularity and greed! That being said, this book nook kit is fun and goes together fairly well with some drawbacks that I will mention in a moment. As these types of hobby kits are concerned, I have done many of them, and the Train Mystery Case is a higher-grade one in comparison. SCALE '''''''''''''' 1 Star - Terrible 2 Stars - Bad 3 Stars - So-so 4 Stars - Good 5 Stars - Excellent 1. Ease - 2 Stars: You need to have done these before. There are many small parts, and the instructions leave a LOT to be desired. BE WARNED: It is definitely NOT for newbies! You must have patience and time. NOTE: I am a disabled, war-time veteran and have plenty of time to play around with something like this. 2. Construction Quality - 4 Stars: While the material is strong, there are some extremely long, thin pieces. One broke in half when removing it from the laser-cut wood slat during my build. I recommend using an Exacto knife for safe, unmitigated extraction. 3. Fun - 4 Stars: Though challenging, Train Mystery Case was gratifying. I enjoyed it. However, you must have your OWN glue* and sandpaper. The small file that comes with it is a joke. 4. Sturdiness - 3 Stars: It CAN be stable, but you absolutely must use glue, even where it doesn't indicate that it is required. *For areas that require durability, like support spots, I use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09SHL4G65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. And for non-bolstering areas, in order to maintain strength for years to come, I use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B0EXNI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 5. Overall - 4 Stars: CUTEBEE and FILIJOY seem to be the same company, and their products appear to be steeped in a reasonable attempt at quality. To a degree, they succeed here! Aside from the noted issues above, I can recommend this build for an amusing and challenging time!

Fun as heck!
Okay this was by far one of my favorite activities. I hadn’t tried them before, but I sat there and did it within a few hours. I wish it said what to do with the tape that comes with. It’s adorable. Glue is probably helpful. Easy to get through the pieces as the labeling is apparent. Small print, but sufficient. Good quality pieces, but be gentle. I tried to file stuff, but I’m not honestly sure what I should do hahaha. If it “breaks”, it’s usually not a complete break. Sturdy and so cute!

Loved this build! Glue NOT included.
This was the first time I put one of these together and now I can't wait to buy another. The directions were not always clear or easy to understand, and I had to go online to see how others put parts together, but I had fun none-the-less. Every piece comes on boards that you have to pop the pieces out of and assemble. The material is sturdy and good quality, and stickers have great detail. Some tinier pieces have back-up pieces in case the first one breaks. TAKE YOUR TIME POPPING OUT THE PIECES! I broke a couple of them because I wasn't paying attention; luckily it had back-ups. The attention to detail is beautiful. The lights throughout are illuminate the nook so you can enjoy all different things inside. Also read the age limit. My 12-year-old loves doing crafts with me, however, she would have gotten frustrated with this build and abandoned it because of all the little pieces and constant glueing. Also, the instructions don't tell you what you will need to assemble. Some type of glue and tape (NOT included) are required for this build. I used tacky glue, but others posted they used super glue or wood glue.
