OS-1 Oil Seal Engine Oil Burning and Leak Repair, 16.9 oz.

Works. Had a small leak and i flushed the engine, changed the oil adding the stop leak with the new oil. Ran the engine as instructed to, no leaks and its been over a month. Was recommended to me, and it was worth it.

As my car get near 15 years old and still a daily driver had started to experience many leaks. The BMW community says not to use the product in your BMW. I have a BMW 323i and with the age and mileage was looking at putting a couple thousand into repairs so gave this a shot. Multiple leaks were resolved while one weeper persists. Have ran for over a month with minimal oil loss and improved performance. I did end up flushing out the system after running it with this product in it for the month.

Used this product in a 2012 Civic that was burning a quart almost every 500 miles. This almost put a complete stop to that. I had to combine it with another product in order to stop the oil burning almost completely, but this did decrease the amount of oil burning by at least 40%. Keep in mind this will not fix a broken engine. My civic has a defect from the factory that causes oil blow by - the only true fix is to get new piston rings installed. This wont fix anything - but it will help with oil burning.

I don't know why I keep wasting my money on these additives that don't work. There is no miracle repair.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Had good reviews ,but I was still a little skeptic , I have a scion TC 250,000 miles. It’s a 2006. I have been working on cars over forty years, and these products typically do not work, and this one is on that list. Now looking at the comments, many gave it great reviews, and so I decided to try it, needless to say it was a big flop. If you have a few bucks to through away and you are desperate go for it but have a backup plan. Yes, rear and front seals are challenging, depending on the manufacture, but realize what you have and attack the problem where it lies, that is replace the worn seal, stop looking for magic in a can. This is not it. I would have given it a half star, but the system does not allow.

Had a small oil leak that created a burning smell. After adding oil seal during a regular oil change the burning oil smell went away. It came back months later and added more that stopped the burning oil smell again, so it seems to have worked twice. Remember to not overfill your regular oil by replacing this product in place of a 1/2 quart of regular oil.

I've bought a lot of products before but they didnt totally stop the leakage as what this product did.

I put the SO-1 into my engine and turned on the engine sat there for 20mins then drove for 20miles got home and checked my dip stick still where it was when I started my drive, now a few days before I had changed my oil, the next day I replaced my front brake pads I noticed my lower wishbone was very shiny it was soaked in oil, now it isn't, so SO-1 must have worked caramba! Happy me, and no I did not think it would work and now think £22.00 was money well spent, well done Bars Leaks!

Magnífico. Tengo una de mis motos con casi ya 40 años y algunas fugas de aceite motor severas. No era una gotita, era ya casi pequeños charcos. Decidí probar este mejunje y el resultado es de 10. Han desaparecido por completo. No hay fugas ni gotas ni nada de aceite ya bajo la moto. Cuesta creer en estos productos milagrosos, de hecho no creía en ninguno pero como tenía mucha pereza y poca pasta para levantar el motot y gastar más de 200€ en juntas decidí probar por las reseñas positivas que leí a ver que tal en mi moto y si! Funciona 🙂 Apto para motores con embrague en baño de aceite o sea que lo puedes poner en tu moto sin problema... 😜
