Continued Use/Customer Support
This product has become a near-necessity in my life. I sleep hot very frequently, and I have found I sleep much better with it running. It gets very cool very fast, and stays cool all night long as long as it has been filled. I haven’t had any issues with leakage over my time of using it, it has a noise while running, but after about a week or so, it’s like a white noise machine and doesn’t bother me anymore, and the main bits of the machine are very durable. The one bit of advice I have is to use the recommended water in the instructions. If you don’t, slimy residue will build up over time, and lessen the cooling affect over time. It’s not the end of the world though, as I have cleaned it out by running some 1/1 vinegar water ratio through the lines, letting it sit for an hour, and then dumping it with the attached water release stub thing on the bottom. I did have to use customer support and it was fast. Like freaky fast. As in I talked to someone and within 10 minutes (this was over their text support line, https://neataquapad.com/contact-us/), I got a new main unit sent to my house. The main unit had to be replaced because of a faulty USB C port being worn over time, not because of a fan, pump, or other issues you might think it would be. Overall, I would buy this again in a heart beat. The deal is better than most other products I’ve seen, the cooling affect is really good, it’s reliable, and while filling this machine every 1 to 2 days is a bit annoying, it doesn’t take too much water (1-2 water bottles) to get it back to full. It takes like 3-4 water bottles from complete empty to fill it up. Anyways, thanks for reading my Ted talk about this product, have a good day.

Sprung a leak after 4 months of use.
The pad sprung a leak, after 4 months of use. I love this product, it was excellent while it worked, easy to use and it really cooled me off. It works so well that it gets too cold! Even when it is really hot. But I cannot afford to buy one every 4 months.

Aquapad works as advertised
I really do like this product. It was easy to assemble. The idea is really good. Aqua pad is as advertised. Fairly comfortable to sleep on. I find the value for the money to be about average. This product could be a little cheaper price point. I found that at the highest fan setting, it was too chilly for me, which is great because summer season hasn't started yet. I don't sleep directly on the pad, I have it covered with a towel. The aqua pad did not leak at all. I made sure that the attachments were securely fit in the appropriate areas. There's slight noise that comes from the fan on the highest setting. I did not find this objectionable at all, but some other reviewers disagree. As for my experience, I could barely hear it. The pad does not easily puncture, but if you have a dog that's very heavy, that tries to get up while on it, there is a risk of puncture. I had this happen to me and my remedy was to use wetsuit glue to patch the puncture. This of course is not the manufacturer's fault, and completely on me. But accidents will happen, so if anyone else runs into a problem and your pad gets punctured, that would be the remedy. Just follow the instructions using the wetsuit glue, and make sure the curing time is at least 24 hours before you refill it with water. I'd say, that overall, this is a pretty good product. I've only had it for a couple of days, we'll see what happens over the next year.

This FL girl really loves this product!
I have had so many family members get the bed, Jets or the bed fans that go under the sheets at the end of the bed. My close family members love those, but I have three large dogs that most nights I have one or two on my bed. Thus, those bed jets would not work. I got this a little skeptical, but I love Amazon’s return policy so figured I’d give it a go. Previous reviews mentioned the smell. That didn’t bother me to the extent it did the others. I laid it outside in the sun for a little bit to get the wrinkles out and put it under my sheet. This will run really cold under your sheet. As other reviews have mentioned, it feels similar to laying on a waterbed for those of us to remember what that felt like..they could sometimes get really cold. So down here in Central, Florida when the heat wave got crazy last week, and our AC went out, this was a godsend, and worked perfectly. The textured pad may take some time to get used to, and it can get wrinkled under your sheet after a night of sleeping on it. I simply make my bed every day and straightened it. I found once our AC got working, it was starting to feel a little too chilly for me. Which was great…until I was too cold. 🤣 For the first few nights, this was remedied by my dogs, who made little hot spots when sleeping on the other side of the bed to which I made them switch sides with me around 3am so I could warm up. You can choose a lower setting on the machine, but I don’t know that does much. Since then, I decided to try and see if I could feel the “chill” I was getting at a more subtle temperature by putting it under my mattress pad and my sheet. I’m happy to report, at least for the first few nights it seems to be working perfectly, and keeping me at just the right temp. I do not have a really thick mattress pad. The only things that frustrate me about this close to perfect product is that the lights on the machine don’t tell you much. The remote works great, except the extreme cooling function button when pushed doesn’t light anything up on the machine. So you are unaware if you’ve engaged that function or not. So you just have to push the button and wait to see if it gets cold or not. Adding water isn’t too much of a big deal, except getting the top off to add water is more difficult than it should be. I never fully put it back down because it’s always so hard to get back up. The hose needs to be longer, but I’m planning on taking it to Home Depot to see if I can go get some similar and make it longer. I also got additional parts that I have no idea what they were for and they were not indicated in the instructions. They seem to be some sort of filter for the water, but I didn’t use them in the end.

Burr It’s Cold in Here, There Must Be a Aquapad in the Atmosphere
Pros: 1) The smaller pad fits my couch perfectly. I sleep on my couch more often than on my bed, so I needed something that’s compact enough for living room sleeping. This is THE ONLY product I found that can fit on my couch. 2) The device also acts as a fan for more cooling. I have it on an end table and facing where I usually lay down. 3) It’s powered by USB, so it doesn’t take up precious outlet space on my power strip. Cons: 1) This thing is a water fiend. It will use up one whole tank (about half a gallon) of water per night. I use distilled water only, so refilling can get expensive. 2) It gets too cold. Even on the lowest setting, the pad gets unbearably cold after a couple hours of use. It feels good when I first get settled for sleeping, but I have to turn it off and on throughout the night to be comfortable. Wish it could automatically cycle on and off (like every 30 minutes) to keep me from freezing—and that would probably help with the water usage as well. 3) The power on and cooling level indicator lights needs to be on the front and not top, so it’s easier to see if it’s on when glancing at it. 4) The refilling hatch needs to be deeper for spill free refilling. I have to keep a rag next to it because spillage is guaranteed to happen during its a nightly refills. I’d definitely buy a second iteration of the Aquapad Breeze if these improvements were made. For now, this is my only option as a couch grouch.

Amazing product for cool night's sleep on a boat without expensive A/C
My application for this is a boat cabin where I sleep. I couldn't find a reasonable solution to cool a small area without large expense. The ideas that probably had the most potential (but I didn't try) were the camping/tent A/C units for just the cabin where I sleep. But while searching, I came across a very good solution that does keep me cool for sleeping only: an AquaPad Breeze Water Cooling Mattress Pad. I have no affiliation with this company - just a satisfied user. It really does work. The benefits: - Small, portable, and unobtrusive - Low electrical requirement/plugs into USB - Customer service is amazing for any issues or to get a longer tube; they even gave me a coupon discount that I didn't see/apply after the fact (they noticed I missed it and brought it to my attention) - Quiet - Can get REALLY cold if ambient/room temperature is below 76°. There are 3 settings on the unit - low/med/high; I typically set my aircon to 67° but when I use the pad, I don't have to use the aircon at all as long as the cabin temperature stays below 78°. If the cabin temperature is below 76°, I can only use the low or med settings else I'll be too cold. Negatives: - If the ambient temperature is about 80°, doesn't seem to have any impact - You have to use filtered water (needs to be refilled every 2 or so days if used every night) - I sometimes wake up feeling a bit "clammy" but it goes away within a minute of getting out of bed - It leaves an imprint of the pad squares under your sheets - I bought a waterproof mattress pad to put under it in case it leaks (extra cost) - Won't do anything for humidity - really only to help sleeping

Significant improvement to sleep quality 😴
1 year product review. The NEAT AquaPad has worked great, improved deep sleep, and is the product I didn’t know I needed. Pros: + As an active cooling device (water evaporation), it will get sufficiently cool during hot nights. + Much cheaper than running the house AC, the NEAT AquaPad has paid for itself in a few months + It is quiet, with minimal light output and is easy to sleep while it’s running Cons: - Water filling is a bit slow and tedious, and as others mention, I have found it needs to be refilled daily (during the summer months in CA). Be sure you are using distilled water. Still worth the minor inconvenience - Takes some trial and error to get the thermal regulation right, I have found adding sheets/blanket on top to be the best. Although I was initially hesitant, I’m glad to have purchased this product.

0 instructions, Loud, NOT WORTH IT
1. Zero instructions. Luckily you only need to attach a hose to the pad and to the cooler, but there are a bunch of extra parts that I have no idea are for what. 2. Loud as hell. Good luck sleeping with this cooler humming like an air fryer. 3. You have to fill it on the counter so you can see the max water level. I followed the crappy picture diagram that showed you laying the pad on the bed, then attaching tubes, then filling with water. DO NOT DO THIS. You can easily miss the max fill line and overflow water everywhere. Put the cooler on the counter so you can see when to stop. 4. No temp control. It’s either on or off. Stupid design, and for over $150 I expected more. SUMMARY Spend the money and spring for the far superior ChiliPad. This hunk of over priced junk will just piss you off.
