Great functionality, noisy sound, channel imbalance
Mine is going back. Short version: sound is not good. If you want the crappy club / college party experience, or the functionality of a much more expensive mixer, this is your unit. Something positive: as a way of learning mixing, the functionality is amazing, the interface is a rip off of a pioneer mixer with FX, eq per channel, mic, assignable Cross fader with low, pass and mid filter user selectable and a USB interface. Huge channel imbalance, 2 is barely useful, too low, three and four are similar in level, but four has a higher hiss and rumble. Ground loops on the signal, higher tham what i would expect for the price. Phono stages are subpar. The master mix is not usable over 6 as noise becomes an integral part of the sound. Rotary pots feel good, but the faders have a very weak and imprecise feeling. Did not bother with the USB as i imagine it would be a source of disappointment. If all the mix is done in the analog domain, an adc will likely not improve the sound. As a way to capture and digitize vinyl, the phono stages are subpar, so is not going to get better once it gets digitized. The functionality is very comprehensive, amazing for the price. Not the sound quality or the touch and feel.

Great mixer reasonably priced.
I love this mixer. I use it when watching TV to fade the sound from the TV out when commercials come one and fade in music using one fader. It's a really cool mixer to use with your stereo, and if I recorded live music in my garage, this would be perfect (but I'd probably buy a bigger one just because I like lots of faders and switches. I'm very pleased with this unit and would buy it again.

The DJX900 is a great intermediate level mixer.
I don’t know why it seems like clunky heavy mixers are more robust than the light weight mixers. That was my first thought when I opened the box and handled this mixer; this mixer is cheap! My excitement went out the door. I was semi-excited about using the VCA cross fader until I started to slide the cross fader side to side. It didn’t feel as sturdy as I thought it would but performs well. It took approximately 2 weeks for me to realize what I have purchased. The DJX900 is a great intermediate level mixer. Although it may not have a sturdy feel, it is very well functional. It does everything it says it will do. The two things that don’t work well and I don’t care for on this mixer are the built-in effects and the BMP counter. The BPM counter does not work consistantly and most of the time inaccurate. The effects unit is not intuitive and difficult to use on the fly. I use the effects and BPM built into the Traktor Scratch Pro 2 software, so it's not a big deal. Since this purchase, I’ve learned to like the mixer. If you’re starting to advance your skills by adding remix sets and loops to your mix by adding additional decks (virtual or non-virtual), this mixer is great to learn on. For the price, I couldn’t expect more from this mixer. As the old saying goes, “I’m gonna ride it till’ the wheels fall off”.

Good for the price
Its complete and good to have it at home if you dont have a 2000$ budget for a DJM900nxs or Xone92.

Semi-professional Mixer. Good, not great.
Love this mixer. It's a great knock-off of the Pioneer mixer of the same style and it has a lot of features, but the reason I can't give it 5 stars is that the effects and the BPM counter don't work for sh!t. Not that I need the BPM counter at all, but to me, it's like why even include it if it's not going to work. I do appreciate the fact that I can hook up my Kaos KP3 through a separate in/out because the included effects barely work for anything. I had been looking for a decent multi-channel mixer and this does the job in that regard. Great mixer for the semi-professional DJ such as myself. I don't do alot of gigs, but this looks really nice when I do DJ outside of my living room and it works great for what I use it for.

The Beringer DJ Mixer offers impressive features and functionality for its price, making it a fantastic value. The pots, with their smooth rubberised feel, and the responsive faders provide excellent tactile feedback. Gain staging is spot-on across all outputs—usb (Connect direct to laptop for recording), master, channels, and headphones—ensuring clean and balanced sound. The inclusion of EQ kill switches is a welcome touch, adding precision to mixing. It boasts a versatile selection of inputs, including phono, which makes it ideal for integrating with vinyl turntables connecting digital dj controllers via phono/line inputs. This mixer would accommodate a 2 x Turntable Deck, 2 x CDj Digital Deck setup. The FX section, while not my personal go-to, offers a solid range of stereo filter effects that enhance creative mixing. This mixer shines as a central hub for a hybrid DJ setup, seamlessly complementing a DJ controller and vinyl turntables. Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase—it delivers reliable performance and quality without disappointment.

This unit is a great upgrade to my worn out 30yr old mixer. To fix it would be like trying to restore a dinosaur... and when restored, I would still have a dinosaur! The sale price was excellent, and the sound/signal transfer is amazing! Though I only use it with my home stereo to manage all my input sources ( 2CDS, 2 TTables, discreet Dbl Cassette, and DVD) then send it out to a Preamp to preamp 4amps), I would recommend this product to anyone, for home use or DJ work... Keep up the good work Behringer :))
