Ordered this when I realized by RB4147 green (which is probably closer to black) polarized were too big for me in 60mm size. First I was surprised with the way these add some orange color to your life, but in two days I realized that I can wear these both if the day is sunny or if it's overcast and I feel more comfortable with them on rather than without, while they are not the darkest shades and they don't make the sun disappear, they make your vision more relaxed, crisp and with less glare. I can't judge the frame itself as it depends and I've chosen this particular one because I like it, but the lenses are of very high quality and definitely enhance your vision and add contrast to it. Totally recommend.

Polarized glasses at a great price. Unlike my Persols, these are very light and comfortable. They fit my large head well, and don't slip down my nose.

I don't think I've bought quality sunglasses in 20 years(now 40). Being young with more money than brains I learned after a few pairs of lost glasses and careless breaks on my part that I was finished spending $100's(so maybe not so brainless, I learned lol) on glasses. So year after year I just bought the cheap $15 glasses from where ever. The last few years being Kohls and usually just some Docker shades. I usually get a season out of them before something breaks on them. More importantly they just never seem to fit just right. Also the lens are usually distorted looking through them and by the end of their life they are so smudge up and tweaked if they don't break they're just miserable to wear. So this season I decided to buy a semi-expensive shade and narrowed it down to RB or Oakley's. After further research I felt that the Oakley's fit my lifestyle better and went with the Holbrooks. Upon receiving them I instantly noticed that there is a quality difference from the cheapos. They just feel solid, yet light, and the bars just open a close smooth(granted they are brand new). It wasn't until I tried them on that I got the full affect of the $100's just spent. Crystal clear lens, awesome polarization, and light on the ears and nose. I can't even feel them on. I'm really impressed with these.
