WAX STICK

OMG… hold up… I just found the holy grail for sleek hair days! Yey! This product had my hair SNATCHED into the slickest back bun I’ve ever done. Like, “Who is she?” levels of perfect. Yes, it got a little greasy (okay, maybe I went a little heavy-handed… oops LOL), but once I brushed it through—chef’s kiss! Pro tip: brush before and after applying, then prepare to be wowed. 10/10 recommend. I’m obsessed.

This Slick Hair wax stick does a good job at slicking back hair/keeping flyways down; however, the results don’t last long for me. I have to end up smoothing my hair several times during the course of the day. As for the application, the company says to just swipe the stick directly on your hair, but I do find that this method tugs on my baby hairs a bit. The packaging of the product is nice, and you just twist the bottom to access more wax. I also like that it’s portable, so it’s easy to travel with or keep in your purse for on the go touch-ups. I also really like that it doesn’t leave your hair hard/flaky like a gel would. Since it’s wax, it doesn’t really dry down rather it stays tacky. So, if you want to restyle your hair or comb through it to lay the flyaways down again, you can do that easily since it’s pliable. Now, I will say that it’s on the pricier side for a wax stick (~$20), so that may be a dealbreaker for some people. Overall, I’ve enjoyed trying out a new method for smoothing my hair rather than using the hard gel I was before.

I got the Slick Hair Co. Hair Wax Stick mainly to test out on my fly-aways About 2 months ago, I decided to get a pixie haircut for the first time ever and... let's just say, I'm not a big fan of it, at all!. Atleast, not the upkeep part of it. So, I decided, I'll just let it grow out. Well, it has been a pain dealing with the unwanted curls and fly-aways and trying to slick my hair back with copious amounts of hair gel has only encouraged the curls to bounce right back up, haha! So, the Slickhair wax stick has really helped in keeping those curls from popping back up!! And I am thoroughly pleased!! What I did was gel my hair back as usual and use the wax stick to keep it down! And oh my gosh it works!! No residue, no sticky or waxy feeling! Love it!!! Oh, and it does have a mild pleasant scent! Con: don't like the barcode sticker on it. It would have been best to shrink wrap the product first then place the barcode sticker. Wife

This Hair Wax Stick has a beautiful chic packaging in color pink and the quality is amazing. It works great to keep the frizzy hair in place and it has strong hold and stays on for hours. Unlike some other similar products, this one is Non-greasy and doesn’t make the hair looks oily or too shiny after applying.

I love wearing my hair back in a ponytail or clip. I constantly get crazy frizzy flyaways around my ears and forehead, especially right after washing my hair. This product really helps to flatten and tame them. It has a very fresh, clean scent, and goes on invisibly. It reminds me of a deodorant stick, it’s basically the same design that rolls up and down. I’ve actually needed one of these for a long time, glad I finally took the plunge.

Good product

I absolutely love this hair wax stick. Compared to the Bedhead wax stick, it doesn’t keep hair down quite as well but it still stays very well. Although it is a bit pricy, it is worth it because it is much easier to wash out of hair compared to alternative hair wax sticks. It is also non scented which is a huge plus for me.
