They are okay so long as your bag, cool box is well enough insulated, nice and thin so fit well around the sides of my picnic hamper

Brilliant! We gave away our traditional bulky ones and these go everywhere with us now. Perfect for school lunchboxes, perfect for days out to keep things cold. They last just as long as the big blocks used to, take up way less room in the freezer and have made life easier. The colours are great too.
