Love this butter keeper. My hubby loves it too. It has great design, made it durable materials and comes with a butter spreader and attached lid to close it up. The butter spreader also has its own holder. We use it every day and we are very pleased. The container is large enough to fit the double sized sticks of butter. The color was true to the description and it is dishwasher safe but I have only hand washed it. The cover detaches for easy cleaning. Best butter keeper I have found.

I ordered this because I needed a separate second dish for butter because I'm gluten free. Is it ever nice! I never forget to put the lid back on so no crumbs in it and it stays clean. It also keeps my butter loving cat out. Dishwasher easy. Love this dish!

Made well hopefully it will last. Recommend hand washing as it is plastic. The color gray is very nice, appreciate it holds 2 sticks of butter. Only negative it had 2 scratches in sides, minor but should have been checked before inserting in the plastic bag.

The concept is great. The execution is almost great. This butter dish holds two sticks of butter or a stick/block of Irish butter. That is why I bought it. I was using a single stick stoneware version and wanted to upgrade so I could keep more butter out of the fridge at once. This is just a tad small for two sticks of butter or a stick of Irish butter. The reason is you have to push it all the way to the backstop area for the lid to close. Even then, it comes really close to coming down on the butter. That makes it difficult to clean the spoon off as well because the only place I see to wipe it is the backstop, which has butter directly beneath it. I think if you use this for a single stick of butter, this would work much better. But for two sticks simultaneously, it's tight and a little messy. It still works, but the downside is that means using up all the butter and throwing it in the dishwasher more often. I was hoping to avoid this because that means running out of soft butter right before it's time to wash it. I don't like being out of soft butter. Does it hold butter? Yes. Does it hold two sticks of butter or an Irish stick? Barely. Is it easy to clean? Sure, throw it in the dishwasher. Is it easy to keep clean? Not really. Is this a deal breaker? No. I'll just wash it more often that my last butter dish. But if a slightly larger version of this comes along, I'll be quick to upgrade.

Very nice item. Well-made & sturdy. Nice, sturdy spreader. I like that it has a storage space. A bit on the pricey side, though. Would recommend if the price is not a deal-breaker.

What an adorable butter dish. I placed two sticks of butter in the dish and it fitted perfectly and the lid closed securely unlike some of the comments previously reported. I’m very pleased.

Legitimately the hands down winner for badassery in a butter dish... I know.. I got it... it's a butter dish... this thing is thoughtfully designed and styled fir functionality and usability. Holds two (1/2#) normal sticks of butter OR one of those amazing Kerry Gold or other wide sticks. No slip feet, proper sized handles and a no slip lid tipping aid... top it off with a matching serving knife. We'll done... I'll likely grab another so there's always one loaded and ready on the counter for great room temp spreadable butter. Scientific fact... butter doesn't need refrigeration.

This is a fabulous concept and I would have loved to have it. There is one serious design flaw that caused me to return it. The knife is too long for its resting place and it doesn’t fit inside the butterie. Making the knife a touch shorter so it sits securely in the exterior well would be a game changer for this product.

I like it... Honestly not sure if it's worth the extra cost over a regular butter dish, but I like the flip top.

I absolutely love this product. It's exactly as described. The ease of access to butter along with the protective cover, rubber bottom to negate slipping and style make it the perfect butter dish. Brilliant design.

Das Design der Butterdose ist sehr schön, allerdings geht keine handelsübliches Butter (250g) hinein, man muß die Butter durchschneiden, tatsächlich passt nur die Hälfte rein. Schade aber für mich nicht geeignet.
