Excellent quality and a great buy.

I am 154cm tall. I bought two of these neck braces in the small size, in black. This item is well made from quality components. Unlike other reviewers, I did not notice a smell. There was a variation in size between the two, presumably due to different machinists. I do not understand why the 'soft' Velcro is attached to the skin side of the brace, whereas the 'hook' side of the Velcro is on the outer side. Ideally, the ends of the brace should butt up against each other, once all initial inflammatory swelling has gone down. With the current design, this is impossible. Furthermore, overlapping the brace at the back, as shown in the video, creates a lump which is uncomfortable for anyone sleeping on their back. As for lying on your side - with a fractured C1, that's the last thing I would feel comfortable doing right now. Is the man in the video a genuine patient, one wonders. I notice the models have elegantly long necks! Not everyone does, which explains the many negative comments about the brace being too deep! Anyone who has had a cervical spine fracture will appreciate how hard it is to find a neck brace that fits perfectly and is fully supportive, yet is still comfortable enough for use when sleeping. It is unlikely that even with several different sizes, that these braces will fit everyone. But you can, if you choose, do something to improve matters. I was able to modify the Velcro attachment by sewing it on the same side as the 'hook' Velcro. I also reduced the amount of foam stuffing, so that the brace now fits under my chin and earlobes - and also along the bottom, still therefore making contact with my collarbone. This modification still utilises the extra support that is provided by the internal stiff plastic reinforcement at the front (something that is omitted from the very cheap, foam-only collars). I was also able to shorten the length of the brace a little bit. Having modified the brace to suit my needs, I am very happy with it. Hoping the manufacturer will read this and take note. One star knocked off because of the Velcro attachment, and what in my opinion could be an even better design.

Rather stiff and uncomfortable

this was just what I needed for awful pain in my neck leading to my head. immediately alleviated the pain with the support it gave. measured my neck to order the correct size. very comfortable

The neck collar is very hard and cause pain all around the neck after weaning. The description is completely deceiving the customers and i would never recommend anyone to buy this rubbish and hard collar for neck pain.

Good support, comfortable to wear for long periods ( or as comfortable as something like this can be). Still working well for me after over a year of use.

We now have three so my husband can keep them all over the place for when he puts them down and cant find them again... wash quite well - very happy

Brace is firm, not soft, memory foam? There is decent extra support, this keeps my loose neck from flopping around. It also is best so far at keeping my neck firm, but not tight, amazingl6 relievin* pain, so far, just put on. But the change(I have near full spinal collapse. Again this is firm, but a lifesaver if you have loose vertebrae. So I don’t give bad advice, wear and show to a trained professional. Just being safe. I just ordered a back up. Like all orthotics, they take some gettin* use to, this is, I had my old fitting brace on, (a month old) and this brace I feel, the cervical marked discomfort, gone….will follow up if I can figure out how to. Also I have the brace a little loose, I don’t like feeling caged in, still the brace is a gem…more hard, then soft. 👍. Not soft, quite comfortable, for an orthotic, works great

Soft enough for comfort Delivered just in less than 24 hours. Unfortunately I picked wrong size. All advertising sellers do not mention how to measure size of those. I found on YouTube but it was late. Amazon accepted returns without any trouble.

Ik heb ervaring met andere modellen van de Orka nekkraag. Deze is te hard, langer dan 2 uur dragen is niet prettig.
