I bought these for some kids I know after I went on a cruise. (The toys on the actual cruise were outrageously priced.) These kids are obsessed with toy captains, ships, etc. They sincerely loved these toys.

I like how everything in this package is well-made. I'll be using these materials as props in a high school classroom as we role-play being the Captain of our Ship / Life, as we choose a destination, recruit a "crew," and plan our navigation. To engage student participation, we needed high quality materials like these. Perfect!

I have a huge Cartman doll in my computer area and since we are having a Halloween costume party this year, I wanted to dress him up. I like how it comes with both a captain hat and a sailor hat. I like how it has a scarf as well as well as black wired frame sunglasses that go well with the rest of the outfit. And I like how it's big to fit my head so I know I could use it but I know it will be great for dressing up Cartman for our Halloween party lol! A fun costume set that feels very well-made and will be great to use for my upcoming Halloween party. 5 out of 5 stars.

I plan on using this for a costume party at my aqua fitness class next week since we'll be around water. The items will work for the party, but are party grade. I initially thought the captains hat would just be a decorated ball cap, but if you look at the side view you can see that it's flatter on top and more shallow. The glasses look like sunglasses and can be used in a pinch, but I doubt they're polarizing and they feel subpar...again, they're just for costume use, not for use as real sunglasses. The scarf is made of a silky material and feels like good quality. And finally, the sailor's cap looks like it could also be a prisoner's cap except that it has the sailor insignia on it. Both caps are adjustable to fit a variety of head sizes. The captain's hat has snaps like a baseball cap, while the sailor's cap can be adjusted by using Velcro straps. Coming this with the appropriate shirt and pants should make things look pretty realistic, enough that people won't question what I'm dressing up as. Maybe I'll win the costume contest!

I like that this is a complete set. The hats fit well and sunglasses as well as an ascot are included.

This is a fun Captain's outfit for Halloween or maybe a normal getup if you like to go sailing and want to be a little extra? The Yacht Captain Hat is actually really high quality and can be worn around as a normal hat. The Sailor Cap is way too large though. Even for me with a large head it was too large. The sunglasses are a cheap set of aviators. The scarf feels high quality, like silk but is probably polyester. Can be worn as a neckerchief. Overall, a good value. Also, if you want to use these when it isn't Halloween I suggest wearing the entire getup and putting on "YMCA" on your favorite streaming app and dance around.
